Thanks for posting your success, I would suggest that you only need to touch the spot for a fraction of a second.

I used clove oil on the spots. Small area at a time because it burns & almost got rid of them. Also i maintain by applying if any appears. You may notice the skin peels off after some time & no more spots. Good luck. Josey

This is good group therapy. I am in the medical profession, although not a doctor, and must share that doctors need to pay attention to these things that don't seem so serious to them but are a big deal cosmetically to the patient. It's obvious that the laser treatment is a waste of money. Not the first time medical treatment miss the mark. Why else would we resort to DIY burning of the nutsack. That said, I have about 20 of these annoying creatures and am going to Fry's tomorrow to get the most sophisticated pencil tip soldering iron I can find. Then tea tree oil and some antiseptic alcohol. Sterility is the key here before during and after the procedure - it's surgery. Cauterization is extremely effective in surgery and I wondered before I came to this forum if there was a side to this that I was missing. You guys found it. I'll report back on my progress.

Firstly I want to think you guys for sharing your experience with this condition!
Would so much appreciate your progress report AngioKNoMo. And so agree with your assessment of medical folks' caviler handling of this condition.
I have read through every post, looking to see if anyone had a bad experience especially with the soldering iron technique. I couldn't believe what I was reading. I have suffered, and still do suffer with these. I have had laser twice and it was OK but did not last very long. I just got my device from Amazon along with some tree oil cream. I am planning to take a very conservative approach to my angiokerotomas. I will be careful to follow sterile procedures that I have learned from here.
I'm certainly scared, but also excited to hopefully have a method to remove these and hopefully maintain my "guys". I'll let the list know how I make out.

Timbo, I did one yesterday as a test using my $5 pen soldering iron (which has a sharp tip). I did a few practice runs with a cold solder iron which I recommend. I also had to shave some hair around there as it was in the way. When I finally went for it my hand was shaking and it helped to rest my hand on my leg. When I touched it to the creature I did not hear a pop so I hit it a few more times gently. There was not significant pain. Then applied tea tree oil and later neosporin. It is currently a scab and is healing nicely. I will give it another day and then I am going back for more. I'll keep you posted.

Hi Bud-
Thx for replying. Good to hear you are making some progress.
I'm so disgusted with these things. Appreciate the sharing of experience.
Today I attempted the process and was mildly successful. I don't think I'm holding the iron on the spots long enough as there doesn't seem to be much difference yet. A couple did bleed a bit when I tried to burn them, and I did hear a pop on the smaller ones, so I will give it a couple days to see what if anything has happened.
I'm being very careful as to not cause any other issue.

Timbo,
Sounds like progress. Give it a few days. My scab on the first one is doing great. I did about a dozen tonight and it went well. Some popped some didn't. Now that I realize it doesn't hurt much I don't shake. I was ready to do the whole sac but decided to continue my wait and see approach.
Good Luck - AngioKNoMo

Hey guys (and gals) I'm a 33 yo female, I have about 6 on my outer labia. I ordered a soldering iron which arrived today. Very nervous to use it but gonna get up the courage because I just don't want to have to worry about these anymore and would like to have a "normal" sex life again without being self conscious and staying away from getting into relationships. Gonna wax tomorrow and hopefully take the plunge at least with the bigger ones. All fingers and toes crossed.

Good news! The scab is off of the first one and it looks good. Red spot is gone. I am probably going to need to hit some of the second set again. The bigger ones are not scabbed over. I went for the largest one today and it gushed blood so I had to stop. I may wait and try again later. I am applying tea tree oil (burns a little) and neosporin a couple of times a day to avoid infection.

HI Everybody,
Thanks so much for your continued sharing. I have started the process and found that for me I needed some numbing to go forward. I did one session without it and was a bit dis appointed as I could not stand the sting.
I bought some ladocaine liquid/cream from Rite-Aide about 8 bucks. Applied to sac for 30 minutes, wiped off, then sprayed with alcohol and wiped off a bit again. Then started the iron procedure. Very carefully only touching micro second. Much better! Not as much pain as before. Recommend using ladocaine, mine is 4%.

I did about 20 minutes yesterday and I can see I'm healing pretty good. Also use tea tree cream from amazon couple times a day. This may take a month or so for me but so what. It seems to be working. I wish I had learned this years ago.

Best to you ellegirl. Glad you have found this forum at an early age to be able to take care of this. Take your time. As I noted, it caused me some pain that I was not ready for. I used a numbing agent and it helped me so much. Please let us know how you are making out.
