HCL sounds risky.  i found a pretty painless method.  Took less time than killing a zit with zit cream.  Try visine, its a vascularconstrictor, so it gets to the source of the problem.  Worked in a single treatment to shrink a painful gourder to a small skin blemish.  Its possible that regular applications will keep them away ... might try washing ye olde sack once a week in visine.

Need your help. I have never seen a capillary tube. Do you use it like a straw by putting your finger on top, or does it require applying pressure to the area to release the HCL. Do you need a quantity of tubes? Any help would be greatly appreciated, i don't think i can muster up the courage to see a dermatologist. Thank You.

A capillary tube holds liquid inside with surface tension only. Meaning you just dip in the liquid and the liquid stays inside the tube. No need to block the other end. Simply touching the tip of the tube direct to the skin will wet that area only. Best to avoid the liquid spreading beyond the small area to treat.

Sounds like there are a few of us with this condition. I started noticing it in my thirties - I am now in my late forties and have never worried too much about it. However as I am now returning to the dating scene (afer my recent divorce) I would like to resolve this ASAP so as not to concern any future lovers.

I am also not so keen on applying hydrochloric acid to my scrotum! This approach sounds safer. How has it been working Loomis? Are you still using the Visine on the "ye olde sac" and is it clearing these dilated blood vessels? Can I purchase Visine over the counter or do I need a prescription? Thanks.

I am currently 32 and for the last several years I've been noticing these dark red/ black spots on my scrotum and now it's to the point where it's bothering me alot mentally. I've dead alot of research on this and came up with couple of things. I'm hoping my observation will help others with this issues... Also I'm going to see a dermatologist soon to see if the would perform some treatments for me. - at first i thought they come and go but they actually change in size according to the time of the day... Meaning when you wake up it is usually in its smallest, sometimes you can't even see them. It's in it's biggest at late at night due to gravity. Also due to temperature of course... - I found out alot of people including women have this condition, but just under report. - there are several treatments for this finding a place that willing to do it is another issue. - lasers, such as ones that use for hair remove or for spider veins. Excision, no one does this much due to scaring. Cryo, freezing it off. I myself tried those home wart remover and some did work others didn't. And another down size it tends to leave scars. Electrocautery, burning it off with electricity. Sclerotherapy, that's with chemical. - The pictures I've seen including my own are usually thin skinned. Kinda resembles broken capillaries or superficial veins that is very close to surface. - when they do bleed it last for 15 to 30 mins for me. - they seem to multiple as time goes on, I'm hoping I can treat it before it gets worse. So far this is all I have... It's now cutting into my confidence and making my life miserable. It's preventing me in engaging anything sexually / nude etc. killing my sex life. Has anyone tried any other methods or treatments that works? Thanks.

Hello! I am currently 32 and have been dealing this issue mentally for the last 3 years. At first it didn't bothered me, but I grew more and more concious as they appeared more and more of them. I spoke to my dermatologist and he sent me to another collage of his, but hasn't returned my messages yet. I tried o contact those cosmetic dermatologist as well but they don't treat it.... Even though it's the Same laser you use to remove hair and port wine stains.... I mean do people really feel THAT uncomfortable treating a skin area in the groin area? I might think of trying that HCL method. Where do you get it from? I tried wart removal kit from cvs that use ice/ freeze. It only worked 2 of them, but left scars. I am getting to the point of just buying a portable laser machine that is pulse dyed or permanent hair removal instead... God it really sucks, I feel so alone. I am so concious I don't even want to have sex because I don't want to explain to my partners what they are or tell them its not an STD. Does anyone know cost of getting those removed via laser from a dermatologist? I can't seem to find one that is willing to do it.

Hello I am that 32 year old guy... I finally went to my dermatologist and they were able to remove the visible ones... They did miss some but I'm going back 3.5 weeks from today. The dye pulse they used worked like a charge! It turned black and disspeared... But I'm waiting to see if the old ones do come back or not. I hoPe not. I spend $400 bucks on his treatment but gave me my self esteem back at least for now. It wasn't really painfully at all, took 5-10 mins. It was more of embrassement than anythIng else. Especially there was a female technician in the room with he doctor. So guys for those do have it go try your dermatologist, ask for pulse dye laser or long pulse laser. I'll keep you guys posted to see if it's long term. .

Hey guys,  I just wanted wanted you to know that a doctor and I have created a kit to remove Angiokeratomas of the scrotum.  it is a painless procedure that you can do at home that does not scar.  It also is at a fraction of the cost of seeing a doctor without all of the embarrassments.   We are in the final production of the kits.  Be patient because relief is on the way.  Any questions please inquire.

Hey there! Oh really a kit? That sounds great opportunity for you guys and us who have this issues. It's almost a month now and after the laser treatment some came back, some just shrink and couple disappeared... It's so frustrating... At least I know there is a treatment or maintence... Rather than see them big and multiplying. Maybe I should have the doctor burn it off... It seems more effective but potentially leave scars... I'll keep you guys posted. Oh and keep us posted about the kit as well!!

Guest, Thanks for the update. I read that cryotherapy works too and would like to try the wart freeze off stuff, but I am afraid of damaging my scrote.

DRiver, I too am anxious to hear about the kit. These things are embarassing and I'd ove an affordable way to get rid of them.

Thanks

Hey AI! Yeah the only problem with the wart removal kit is the head of the application is too wide of an area... Therefore effects not only the blood blister but also the skin around it. If only they can make it with a sharp tip. Some of my scars from the wart removal is lighten up a bit since 5 months ago. To be honest I rather have some discoloration scars then the angiokertoma blisters. I know it's just basic broken capillaries it's harmless and part of growing for some, others just genetics and others.. Just bad luck. I feel vain to worry about this condition, but hey it does effects my confidence so I'll do all I can to remove them. There has to be a better treatment.. Because if they can laser off broken capillaries on your face, spider veins on your legs, then this shouldnt be a big deal. It's just not well known and also men are embrassed about asking and treating it to their doctors. Hopefully when I see my dermatologist again the second round would be better or if they bump up the pulse dye power. Anyhow ok enough talking about my balls haha.

The HCL method actually works and thank you so much for the advice. I used a 32% solution and also picked up tubes from Amazon. Takes anywhere from 2 to 4 minutes per spot to do the job. In my first week and after only a couple treatments i have cleared half of it and i am so happy with the results. Takes some balls to try it :)

Jack,
Where did you get the HCL? I asked about it at my pharmacy and they told me I'd need a prescription to buy it.

Hi Al, i picked up the 32% HCL on Amazon for under $20 shipped http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0039D2R24/ref=mp_s_a_1?qid=1323736126&sr=8-1 What's interesting is the larger spots are easier to burn and turn black than the smaller ones which required two to three couple minute treatments. Take your time with it over the first couple days and use a wet paper towel after and rinse. I did it for three days in a row and waited for the scabs to fall off. Will start another round soon on the smaller spots. Good luck and grab the smaller 100 count $10 capilary tubes from Amazon as well. Let us know how it goes. Best regards, Jack

Hey I got the same thing from amazon.... The bottle looks scary.. Haha. It's been sitting under my sink for several weeks now, I'm hesitating on trying it. But will soon enough. I also got the tubes as well. Is this acid the same type where if I spill it on the floor or skin it goes hisssssssssss? I watch too much tv.

I am 33 and have about 40 of these spots on my ball sack. My partner is pretty freaked out by them, and doesn't really like getting near them, which is pretty distressing. I knew they were benign, and wasn't that bothered, but now I've got quite a big issue with them.

Is the HCl method serious? It sounds like a pretty insanely dangerous thing to do.

Also the guy who used Visine - has anybody else tried this? Are you talking about the eye drops, or another type? How effective was it?

I'm considering starting with the Visine approach, then maybe moving onto the acid if that doesn't work, but I'm fairly nervous about it...

Thanks.
