Actually I was asking homebrand warrior as he seems to have tried the paperclip method.

Just my thought here, but I would be really cautious. I think a second or two is way too long and might do a lot of damage. Based on what I did yesterday, I think one or two seconds might actually burn through the scrotum altogether. BTW, the ones I burned with the paperclip yesterday are looking good today. Hopefully it will work.

^ Ok, understood, but a question/quote >"treatment last about 1 to 2 months"...so then they came back???

Now that a bit more than a week has passed, I thought I would give an update on my results with the paperclip/soldering iron method. My spots have healed nicely and look excellent. The difference is night and day. I don't know if they will come back, but right now I am very happy with the results. I do think it's important to note that I barely touched each of the spots with the hot paperclip and very quickly too. I don't think I would recommend any more than that, as it might do damage. I might add that the spots actually look much better immediately after the treatment. Only one spot bled after touching it with the hot paperclip and it didn't bleed much or very long. This is real different from when I have intentionally "popped" them in the past and they bled a lot and for a long time.

With that being said, I am very pleased with the results I have gotten with the paperclip/soldering iron method. I have done about four sessions of burning off a few at a time and my Angiokeratoma spots are completely gone! Again, I only touched each spot very quickly. and just once or twice per spot. I did the bigger ones twice. This is the first time in years I haven't had any spot. Happy camper here. LOL

Scott2121...you don't need to 'purchase' any kit...just try what others have. Seems the "paper clip" method works best > and it's FREE!

I have to agree. The soldering iron/paperclip method has been a huge success for me. Again, I would suggest a lot of caution to only touch the spots very lightly and very quickly. That is all it takes. Also, you need a steady hand.
I wish I had before and after pictures to share, because the results are like night and day. Today I did a follow-up to burn off any very tiny remaining spots, and there was nearly nothing to be found.

The link didn't work, but I found it on my own. My biggest concern is that I see that cauterizer gets so hot it glows. I think that could do a lot of damage. My paperclip wrapped around the tip of my pencil-style soldering iron gets quite hot, but it does not glow. I would shy away from one that gets so hot it glows. I would be afraid it could lead to an embarrassing E.R. visit.
Has anyone thought of purchasing an actual cauterizer over the makeshift paper clip method? I found one for $20 that apparently is used to make fly fishing lures. I havent got it yet, but I am going to give it a shot! Here is the link:

Glad I found this forum, I've had these damn spots ever since I could remember. Most of them are on my glans and shaft, which is a bit unusual. It's been a nightmare to live with, as you guys know. I've sort of just tolerated them until about a year ago they started getting worse. More and more would pop up and finally started looking for ways to get rid of them and found this forum.
For the first time last week, I tried two methods of removal (freeze dry/wart removal and the soldering iron) at the same time to see which had better results. I did two spots with each method, and can I say... putting a burning hot soldering iron near my junk was incredibly nerve racking...
The freeze dry method was difficult to do, I cut down some of the applicators that came with the kit into somewhat of a point, charged it and tried my best to press onto the spot. I had no idea how long to hold it against it, but I did it until it burned (maybe 3-4 seconds) and I repeated that 4-5 times per spot. They appeared to darken a little just after the procedure. A week later, they are still there with no change. I may not have burned them long enough or done it poorly, but i didn't have any success at all with it.
The Soldering Iron method, however, seemed to work like a charm. I used the actual tip of the iron and just barely touched it to the two spots. Immediately they changed. Both turned instantly black, in 5-6 days there was no trace of them left. The only problem I had was getting up the nerve to actually push that burning hot Iron against my skin. I started shaking a bit and couldn't be very precise after the stress of that... But, overall I'm very happy with what I'm seeing and for the hope that I might have a normal looking penis n balls, finally!
Thanks everyone for posting. I'll update with my progress down the line.

Good to hear the soldering iron method worked for you too. I am still very pleased with the results I achieved and it's looking like I will only need a little touch-up now and then. I would suggest trying the paperclip on your pencil-style soldering iron. I am not certain exactly how to describe it, but the paperclip is wrapped around the tip of the soldering iron a few times and a the straight end of the paperclip sticks out 3/8" beyond the tip of the soldering iron. This has made the perfect tool for me to do this.

I would like to say "Thank you" for just having a place to discuss this topic. I've battled these angiokeratomas alone off and on over the past 10 years or so. I first noticed a couple of them on my scrotum while giving myself a check up (in my early - mid 30's). In my younger, wilder, stupider days I had to have a few warts frozen off my sack by a Dr. :-| . There has been no re-occurrence of the warts but these reddish purple spots started appearing little by little some years after. Honestly I've also done some shaving down there on occasion over the years so... I probably wasn't helping the situation, i.e. irritating the scrotum.
(may I now sagely recommend careful trimming only btw, using an adjustable beard trimmer, for those so inclined)
I know these spots are "benign" but we are reading this topic because we want to get rid of them, right? I have tried applying Tea Tree and/or other "intense" oils (nothing, it' not a virus or fungus right?). Tried the wart freezing kits available at drug stores with a little success, but as another mentioned, the applicators are usually much wider than the spots so you end up hitting a wider area and I did have a (barely noticeable) circular scar for some months. Some changed color and disappeared, a few did not. Redid it later with some success. I think it's not the best way but you can try. Also tried a combo of the oils & freezing (OUCH! STUPID!) a few years back. Tried using the wart remover gel with salicylic acid, again some very little (temporary) to no success.
I haven't tried it yet myself but I think the HCl acid method is a very good viable option if you are careful with directing it at the tiny spot (gonna check on the capillary tube applicators mentioned above) and if you don't mind doing the "scrotum dance" for a few secs while the burning subsides.
I'm no expert but HCL acid sounds scarier than it is, at least not the commercially available stuff.
The soldering iron method... Whoa, Dude! You blew my mind! And I thought I was a masochist! but it actually makes total sense. Sounds very much like what a Dr. may do (but fer Heaven's sake, only touch the spot for a very quick half sec. (or less) & keep everything clean and sterile!). Thinking about trying that....8-|
I know it's a psychological confidence (vanity!) thing in my head but it feels good to have those unsightly spots gone. I would also like to say to my darker haired brethern that if you don't trim down there (hairy), nobody may even notice if you have these unless up close. I also recommend to all: pay attention to your underwear and jeans. Don't wear it too tight (pressure on capillaries) or too loose (gravity); look for the boxer type with the built in pecker supporter... kinda like a banana hammock sewn in the shorts. And, avoid penis rings and such gear. I find they only exacerbate the situation!
Will update when I try the next thing. Thank you for letting me vent.
