I have them on the major labia, I had a dermatologist cauterize 2 of them today, no numbing. It took them several touches (probably 10) just to remove 1.

I tried the soldering iron method first and it did work but the cord was starting to become a hassle so I had the same idea of trying one of those rechargeable beauty mole remover pens and it did not work out that well. It did remove the spots but it also made every one that I touched bleed like crazy and it felt like forever to get them to stop, also it took alot longer to heal than the first method. I was walking around the Dollar General one day and happened to see a small wood burning iron in the arts and craft section and figured it might do the trick. It was about the same size as a needle soldering iron and the temperature can get up to 720 degrees, it worked really well for me as long as I just gave the spots a slight tap. I could hear a slight pop and a little sizzle and the skin would turn white and then pink. After a few days it would heal completely like nothing was ever there.. just be real careful and don't drop it on your leg or sack.

There are rechargeable skin tag removal products on Amazon that work just like a soldering iron. Razor sharp point, adjustable levels too. I have used mine on many skin tags, moles, skin growths etc. Works great. Can be a bit painful at times but I highly recommend. Almost always only one treatment too.

I started getting Angiokeratomas on my scrotum just before turning 30. Over the years it had gotten worse. I will be turning 60 in a month. I had lots of them. I had two treatments performed by a technician in my dermatologist office using electro cauterization . It was a vein clinic office. It worked great! They give you a numbing cream that you apply all over the scrotum very generously so you do not feel the hot tip of the e- needle. After the treatment you apply a moisturizer for the next 10 days twice a day. They form scabs that fall off. Then I went back for a second treatment one month later. So far 2 months later it looks great. No scarring or discoloration. I read that a common issue with people that have Fabry’s disease lack an enzyme that their bodies that they cannot break down. It is called Alpha Galactosidase. That is the main ingredient in the supplement “Beano”. I do not think that I have Fabry’s disease, but I am taking Beano from now on to make sure they do not return. I would go to a professional and not try to treat yourself with devices that could harm or damage you. This condition is so embossing. I hope this helps. I searched for years to find a doctor and most doctors just say to leave it alone. It was not expensive either. After my insurance was billed I only had to pay $188 twice for each of my two treatments. If any come back will go back and do it again.

Hello everyone. I am from Croatia, Zadar. I have had a problem with angiokeratomas since I was 19. I tried the method with a soldering iron and with TCA acid. Both methods really work and angiokeratomas disappear quite quickly, but they are also quite painful. Fortunately, I discovered a clinic ("Poliklinika Mešter" in Zadar) where they removed my angiokeratomas with a laser almost painlessly (more than 30 angiokeratomas). Dr. Verena, who works in that clinic, took an extremely professional approach to solving the problem with angiokeratomas, and I did not have any scars after the treatment. So far, more than 3 weeks have passed and there is no sign of new angiokeratomas.

Hello everyone. Thanks for this topic. I have done a lot of research into angiokeratomas and I believe the conclusion I have come to is that it is mostly a function of genetics AS WELL AS over exertion on the area, i.e. physical damage.

The genetics factor comes down to the thickness of the skin on the scrotum and your propensity to form angiomas in general (you may have cherry angiomas elsewhere in your skin which are essentially the same thing). This is something that cannot be fixed as it is part of our biological makeup.

The other factor I believe is a cause of these is physical damage to the scrotum area itself. I got most of mine from shaving the scrotum harshly as it coincides exactly with the areas in which I have to stretch the scrotum quite a bit. I believe micro-damage on the skin, scratches/cuts, means the vessels pool in these areas which can accelerate and lead to angiokeratoma formation. I also believe that there is also a physical factor in that if you are pre-disposed to high blood pressure, or put stress on the blood vessels in this area, this could be a contributing factor. This is likely why hemorrhoids and constipation sufferers form these more readily, as they are commonly putting excess stress on the blood vessels within the perineal area.

I also believe you can remove these just as you would cherry angiomas. The little electric mole pens WORK FINE (albeit they take a while and maybe multiple passes), so you do not need to put a soldering iron onto your scrotum. Note, just like angiomas elsewhere on the skin, IT IS likely to bleed pretty badly for such a small thing. Putting pressure directly onto the angioma usually clears this up quickly enough as the vessel then clots. The soldering iron cauterizes the area quite quickly which I assume is the reason why they don't bleed much with this method. The angioma will darken and scab over and within 48 hours. If done correctly, the scab will come off and you are left with a smaller red spot which will heal into healthy skin like a normal cut would. Remember that these are simply small pools of blood right at the surface of the skin, so there only needs to a be a small thickness of healthy skin formation to heal up the area and allow the blood vessel to settle back properly below the healthy skin.

I have stopped shaving and will now only be trimming my scrotum area to limit the formation of these as I am very sure that physical damage to the scrotum skin is a massive factor in all of this. I will also be losing weight in general and amending my diet to limit any constipation or hemorrhoids. Good luck.

Can be caused by dermatitis, causes your balls to itch forever. I'm dealing with the same thing angiokeratoma. Very discouraging, I'm 52 started at about 31 but after 40 lots of them. Been using soldering iron method works pretty good, but can cause dermatitis flare up. Got a script for clotrimazole and betamethasone it's help the itch very well. Good luck.

What temperature should we be using for best results? Does it need to be above 230 degrees?

I was wondering about this too. I didn't see any replies about it though in the thread.

I have a few spots on the bottom of my glans too.. the corona? they are in addition to the ones on my scrotum. Has anyone had any success using something on these?
