When I drink alcohol it is saying STOP putting it down your neck I don't like this its bad for you so I give a bit of pain to let you know. You ignore and it happens again until you are done. Over. Ca put. Listen to your body it's had enough. Stop drinking. I Googled this tonight 30 March 2016 and I stop Wright now I don't wanna die in pain for a buzz on the head or to laugh with friends you must take control. We make our own reality if your reality is dying slowly in pain then crack on. God bless good luck and wish me luck too

I am 22 and have been experiencing this since I began drinking a few years ago. It is really debilitating, especially since I never know what triggers the food poisoning like symptoms-but when they hit it is truly awful. I always feel silly too because when I explain why I feel ill it just sounds like a glorified hangover. But my gosh it feel so so terrible. I am so so happy I found this because it makes me feel so much better knowing I am not alone, thank you to everyone for sharing!
I do wonder if there is an allergic reaction occurring to the alcohol, and maybe it's just getting worse the more I drink? Because it seems to be occurring more often now-though still not predictable at all.
Thank you all, again!
PS am currently recovering after a few beers but am staying in a hostel with 8 other people so this particular time has been really rough! Haha

It's really nice to hear other people are having the same problem. I'm 20 have never had any problems with my hangovers until I got really sick from drinking. I will start to feel sick and throw up once that night wake up and I start throwing up for the whole day. Goes into the next day. At this point it's all stomach acid and is really starting to burn. It's been three days now started getting sick Saturday night now it's Monday have had 3 things to eat totall because I just feel like if I eat it won't stay down.

I feel so much better after reading all the posts here. I'm not the only person who suffered from this. I'm 24 and last night I was out partying with friends and had a bottle of beer, 3 glasses of white wine and 1 glass of Sangria (I know..not the best combination). But I've been drinking like this before also but nothing happened. We danced for about 2 hours after drinking but on my way back, I threw up almost 4 times. Once I reached home.. it was hard to stop the vomitting. I somehow was able to stop and just passed out. In the morning when.
I woke up at 9, my body felt tired and without any strength, so I drank a bottle of water. But as soon as I was back in my room, I was throwing up all that out. And this cycle started. I couldn't stop throwing up.. it was like a dry retching and bile. I could not even hold down water or even ORS. My head was pounding, body was shaking, I puked every time I tried to sit up and I had those hot and cold sweats.
So finally I decided to go to the hospital. The doctor said that this is some sort of gastrix reflux infection (can't remember the term he used for it) and my body is trying to get rid of all toxins.I had to get two shots of injections to stop the puking. He told me take water with ORS only and take only balnd food for three days. He gave me like a SOS tablet which I should take only if I feel like vomitting again. And if I do puke again, I should rush to the ER and get IV fluids. It's evening now and I feel much better as compared to the hellish afternoon. Fingers crossed I don't have to go to the ER. But I am so relieved that there are others like me. :)

Do not drink cold water as soon as you wake up, it will make you vomit within minutes. Instead, drink warm green tea to reduce the acid in your stomach and fasten your metabolism to process/flush the alcohol faster. Always work for me.

Nothing happens to me whenever I drink the previous night. My hangover usually starts around 11 or 12 the next day. I would throw up 7 to 8 times to a point where nothing is left to throw up and there is just the water that I drink. This did not happen before, only a few months back and I am 33, so I figured maybe it could be because of age. Perhaps I am not as young and strong as I once was. My the hangover did not end only with throwing up, I would also have diarrhoea and cold chills and I would get all shaky. I am a social drinker and I would be sure to have these symptoms the next day after 3 to 4 cans of beer. This is not a normal hangover and I am considering to stop drinking altogether. After reading the posts, I should consider having my acidity checked as well.

Why not just stop drinking as much, know your limits and cut on drinking. Also eat the right food before hand and keep drinking water in between drinking alcohol
