I am very happy to have found this site. I am a college student and I recently stopped taking Yaz due to money problems. Ever since, I have had SEVERE DEPRESSION, panic attacks, mood swings, nausea, and the worst part is that I went to a doctor to get better. They put me on an anti depresant, which I havent started. And will not be starting now that I know the cause. I have been absolutely miserable. I cannot concentrate, I cannot sleep and feel relaxed, my anxiety has been very out of control. The panic attacks I have been fighting for weeks, but recently is gettting better. I really didnt think things would get better. Now knowing that WE ARE NOT ALONE!! this will help all of us. I am about to get back on the pill and stay on it until i figure out how to get off it and not go through this GOD AWFUL thing all of us are experiencing. I have not felt like my self and felt like i was going crazy. Thank you all so much, we will ALL get through this together. WOMEN POWER!
i felt exactly the same.. I went off birth control to get pregnant.. but totally flipped out..major anxiety attacks, depressions, mood swings, anger, loss of appetite etc... this went on for 2.5 months till I decided I couldnt take it any more, and just went back on pill.. Im not sure how to go off pill without getting these side effects.. Any help would be great, cause its ruuning my life and my relationship
I have horrible symptoms since coming off the pill.I was on Yasmin for 7 years and these are the symptoms I am getting after a month. I hate being on my own, I can be fine one minute and then start crying and I feel like everything is not right. I have accused my fiance of having an affair and keep thinking he is going to leave me which then makes me feel like I'm going to have a panic attack!I'm usually a happy person but I don't feel excited or happy about anything at the moment. I keep telling myself it's the side effects but it's driving me mad. I'm not going to the doctor because I wont take anti depressants. Does anyone know how long these symptoms will last for?
