I had this frst time this moring.
It felt like a pulce on the right side of my anus. Thought I might be sitting too long on the toilet.
That is when it started. I had to large bowel movemnet before in the morning.
I have been under a huge anount of stress.
Even my arms and legs are tense. I know anxirty has the ability to mask as every disease on earth. Pay attention to stress and feel how tense your whole body is. I am going with stress.
Rememebr, your anus is a muclse too.
Stress took a long time to build up, and it will take a while to go away.

I've had the same feeling in the anus area...I'm 33 weeks pregnant and I thought it was related to being pregnant as I also found this symptom in the pregnancy forums. It almost feels like a cell phone vibrating. Its not painful but worrisome. I will be asking my doctor at the next OB appt. to see if she has heard of it before. I would suppose that it has something to do with presure and blood flow.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one. My anus has been ringing off the hook the last few days, almost a week. I think its realated to stress or anxiety. Lots has been going on at work, not bad, just lots of exciting things. Anyone else having stress related butt buzzing?

I am having the same symptoms and the only thing i can relate it to is that i have increased my weights sessions. It seems to me that it is some sort of muscle spasms. I am going to increase my magnesium intake and see how the results are (Magnesium helps with muscle recovery/cra,ping/spasms)
Thak you for your post

Hey you all just scratch yourselves it will pass.
If it does not, try putting watermellon seeds inside your ass and hold them for one minute, do this every two hours.
That solution cured me!

I think I may have the answer to this one.
This could be related to a condition first reported during the Roaring Twenties, and thought to be related to the dance crazes of the time.
A symptom known as BB (Buzzing Bottom)
There is no known cure, however constant flatulence seems to give some relief.
hope this helps.

I too am having the same issue...which is why I'm on this page trying to figure out what the heck it could be.

for all those wondering, it's most likely a compressed nerve. Mine came about after I experienced an extruded disc in my s1. Since then I noticed the buzzing and like all of you, there is no pain.
This is a srong message to everyone: do exercises to strengthen your glutes and lower back to help lengthen your spine and decompress the disc areas at all levels. The last thing you'd want to happen is fully compress the nerves that are responsible for bowel and urinary continence.
good luck! talk to a physical therapist asap!
