Ok, so a few months ago, I had sex with a girl and contracted HPV (genital warts). I didnt know it was HPV until about a month ago, and my doctor just burned them all off about a week ago. Let me back up some though... The day after I had sex with this girl, I smelled an odor coming from my genitals that I had never smelled before...I thought it was a yeast infection or something at first so i tried anti-fungal cream. Nothing helped. Eventually very small warts starting popping up around the base of my penis, so I went to the doctor. He froze them, then I went back 3 weeks later (which was last week), and he burned the rest off... Now all of them are gone, however that smell is STILL there. It even comes back about 2-3 hours after I shower. Also, I am circumcised. What the hell is going on??? I have NEVER had this problem until this one sexual encounter. I have no discharge, urine doesnt smell, doesnt hurt when i pee, NOTHING. Its just the smell. I wouldn't necessarily consider it a "fishy" smell, I really don't know how to describe it. It almost has a "sweet" scent, but in a really bad way. Anyone have an idea?

Try a few stronger deodorant soaps.... shower more frequently....and take some sitz baths.
