Not sure I know I commented on this 9-12 months ago assuming there was since article stated that but haven’t heard or read that there is an actual lawsuit yet.

I have been on Suboxone for 2 years now. I’ve lost a lot of my teeth to decay since I began treatment with it. Within 6 months I started having teeth decay quickly, and it doesnt matter how good I take care of my teeth. I was only missing a few teeth (wisdom) in the back before, I now only have 6 teeth on the bottom and 9 on top. I’m stuck with a partial and need bridges on top..the 2 bridges alone will be $6,600. Then I’ll have to get 4 more teeth removed and a new bottom partial made. Suboxone ruins your teeth.

You guys are trying to sue a company that provides a drug that helps people like myself get off of heroin, yeah I get and understand the frustration of dental issues however no one forced you to stay on this suboxone for any lengthy period of time....I myself have been on it on and off for 2 1/2 years and I need dental work done as well but suboxone saved my life so far.

If it weren’t for suboxone I would’ve never quit heroin until I wound up dead from an OD so yeah don’t bite the hand that feeds you even if that hand has some issues.

I myself am trying to cut down to 4mg from 8mg and than eventually 2mg and so forthj

I have been on it for awhile now and my teeth are so bad . I’ve lost almost all my back teeth and two front which at only 35 years old and have dentures is horrible !!! Especially since I’m in the medical field . I feel like I was not warned of this happening. I can’t believe it’s within my recovery I’m suffering more than when I was using . It’s not right . If you are going to file a claim , count me in !!!

My dental bill hit a high of $17,000.00 due to the need of continuous dental care needed by my teeth.

My teeth were gone in a period of 18 months.

I was talking Suboxone during the same time period.

My doctor knew about my nightmare involving my teeth. However, he mentioned anything about Suboxone causing the damage. I wouldn't have touched another sub- film had I known. I would definitely join a class action against the maker, if possible.

I also would join in the class action. Does anyone have connections to start this process?

I've also been taking suboxone for 4 years . my teeth were perfect before taking it. An now every tooth I have has to be pulled. I do not even have one that's savable. Is there a lawsuit anywhere against this company?

My girlfriend and I are both on Subutex. As a child, I never had a cavity. As a matter of fact, I didn’t experience the dental drill until almost 30! It was around this time, that my dentist suggested having my wisdom teeth removed. After the surgery to have them removed, I experienced opioids for the first time. I became addicted. From the age of 33 to 38 I found ways to feed my addiction. It was mostly Vicodin and Percocet. By the age of 38 I was fed up and decided to get help. I was put on Suboxione. I’ve never been able to get away from it. Since I started Suboxione, my dental health began a rapid decline. It became so bad that last year, I had to get all of my teeth pulled out! I suspected the Suboxione from the beginning. It got so bad, that 2 years ago I asked to be switched to Subutex. This didn’t help, and I lost my teeth despite trying many different things including prescription toothpaste. I hate wearing dentures, and am currently in the process of saving every dime I have to get implants. My girlfriend, whom I’ve been with for 4 years, is having similar problems. She was at the beginning of her recovery when I met her, and has been taking Suboxione and then also switching to Subutex within those 4 years. When I met her 4 years ago, her teeth were nearly perfect. She just came from the dentist today, and had another tooth pulled. She had several cavities filled during an appointment 3 weeks ago, and the dentist says she has new cavities in those same teeth! She has become obsessed with brushing her teeth, yet the dentist told her today she is on the fast track to losing them all! After doing some google searches, I’ve realized my original hunch is correct. I think both Subutex and Suboxione are damaging to teeth!

I've taken subs for two years. I'm down to .125mg a day and actually I'm on my 3rd clean day.

I ended up with most of my bottom teeth gone, and false teeth up top.

I always thought it was just me. I never thought it could be the subs.

Was for 7 yrs on low dose of suboxene 2mg, never abused it. I was tapered down in a detox as I was unable to do it myself. 3 weeks now off and feel like c**p. I heard horror stories about the length it takes to feel normal. I bailed on a back surgery and the doc cut me off pain meds. In detox they gave me something that will help, but no one old me that withdrawals are worse than coming off opioids.
If you can, get off it or better, never take it. This stuff just makes you addicted. Hence it’s called Medical Industry with doctors ˋpracticing‘ medicine. Disgusting!

You shouldn't say those things about yourself, did you read the pamphlet that was attached to your prescription?

No sir..... you're wrong. Everyone prescribed subs are not on for abusing opiates. Doctors are ruining lives by PUTTING chronic pain patients on these meds (to either cover their butt or insure a LIFETIME patient) because ANYONE who takes subs longer than a month? Will NEVER be able to titrate completely off the medication without severe adverse reactions. Trust me, I've done diligent research. And the fact that doctors (and those such as yourself) make statements and tie stigmas to anyone taking sub as a "drug abuser" only proves the point... this tangled web is about to come undone for these drug company's AND the physicians (who take an 8 hr COURSE to be able to prescribe) and their luxurious lifestyles at OUR expense. Not to mention the inability to ever be able to be treated for ANY kind of pain ever again (which opens up cases of negligence and malpractice) yea, it's about to alllll be exposed.
