So I just recently switched from methadone to suboxone. No quiestions about the switch, did that, done. My quiestion is if anyone else has an empty stomach feeling from this? I feel like no matter how much food I eat or drink my empty stomach feeling is not being filled! Its like really annoying and really bothering me bc I feel like the food Im eating isnt fueling my body and its almost like I feel just completely empty. I know this is kinda the same feeling if u ever detoxed, or weaned off of drugs that there is like an empty void or pit in your stomach where that drug used to fill, I just am not sure if its me or if anyone else has ever felt this? I thought that the subs would take care of that but I guess its either the subs just upsetting my stomach a little bit or just the void of the methdaone/drug. Also....since the medication from the subs are absorbed by the blood vessels under your toung, does that mean that you can spit out all that junk after the films are completely dissolved? Obviously they dont work if they go to your stomach so if the meds already absorbed why they hell would I wanna swallow that nasty sh*t if I dont have to?! Let me know if anyone else has any of the same thoughts, idea, or advice. Thanks, much appreciated!

Was on sub for better than 8 years just to let you know. which pill are you taking, i.e., the 8mg orange, or the generic white?? how many?? I've never experienced that empty stomach feeling, but I never used more than 8mg. I always dissolved it in a bit of water first, which dissolves completely so if you still hand some "stuff" left in your mouth, it may still be some sub left. When I put the water solution in my mouth, I'd let it stay maybe 15 mins, then swallow.
oops, you're using the "new" films. They JUST came out so you are not going to find many people here with a lot of experience with it. Sorry. Maybe you should try the pills instead....
