Hi everyone,
My boyfriend admitted that he has had a problem with Oxycotin. He use to take 80 mg's every day, would crush them, and snort them. He is now taking Suboxone, but he seemed very weird the other day. He seemed to be high. His pupils were extremely small, his was acting goofy and aloof...basically he seemed high. How can I tell the difference between him using Oxi's and Suboxone? He was still eating like crazy, so it seemed that he may be honest about not using Oxi's, but I am not real familiar with the difference. Can someone help me understand a little more? Thank you!!!!

in my opinion It is much better to be on suboxone steadily than messing with pills or heroin which cause someone to be in a state of withdrawl a lot of the time and never gives them a chance to feel anything constant.
Suboxone is still a commitment it's not a cure all, I've been on it a few months. I still have to try really hard to keep my mind on being clean and not going out and getting high.
I've also come off dope entirely with suboxone and it works great.
But I feel Blessed to have gotten on this pill, I feel able to accept not using better. My mind and body are more at ease on the suboxone and I'm not as fixated on dope. opiate addictions a lot to put a body and mind through. right now for me suboxone is a hope of staying the f**k away from drugs long enough to get myself going and try to get away from constant anxiety and emptiness that running circles around heroin creates in me. I've only been on it a few months and I still have to face getting off it but one thing at a time. I'm just trying to breathe and try to figure out what I need to be doing and how to do it. I hope that helped you or someone reading this in some way. All the best to you
Keep strong everyone. enjoy the nice weather

It's great that your boyfriend admitted he had a problem with OC's because they're VERY VERY addictive... I went to rehab for those stupid things (I was crushing up 80's several times a day every day.... VERY expensive, thank goodness for rehab and suboxone!!!). Just to let you know, from what I have experienced, the suboxone still makes your pupils very small for the most part... If he was acting a little goofy, etc... he may have taken more suboxone than he should've (ie more pills than prescribed for that day). Good luck though, and just remember to try and stick by him because it's a difficult thing to overcome (opiate addiction!!!)
Take care!!!

I found out that my boyfriend was doing OC's he told me that he would stop, he got suboxone from one of his friends, then I told him that he needed to go to a doctor because how does he know how much to take, and when. So he went to the doctor and got suboxone, then a few days later I found the empty bottle of suboxone, when I asked him about it he said that he threw them away, I was with him all those days pretty much all day, so if he took all 30 pills, I'm pretty sure I would know. But his pupils are still small like they were when he was using OC's, he said hes not taking suboxone, hes acting normal and eating normal, But why are his pupils so small if hes not taking anything? Do I believe him?

NO! DONT BELIEVE HIM... 3 days of suboxone is not enough time to get the oc's out of his system so he would be going through major withdrawals... definitaly not eating. im telling you this because i know i have been on suboxone for 6 monthes and ive done so much research. im also a recovering drug addict and what he probably did is trade the suboxones for oc's. i would tell you suboxone is a miracle cure but its not so if he chooses to go back on them i would tell him that there is a 21 day suboxone dosage program that allows you to get off the opiods without becoming addicted to suboxone. his doctor will not reccomend it because they want you on the suboxone for as long as possible to get your money. just trust me. hes on drugs. buttt.... dont leave him but force him to admit it

it's either that or he did take them all luckily for you that you can only get so high on them they stop working after i think 42mg. People all tell stories no one ever reads the website.
