Sudden unexplained swelling, hands, feet, lip, wrists

I was doing the same thing. It ended up being lisinopryl for blood pressure. Even though I had taken it for years.

Hi there, I had swellings at every spot the body touched something, like wrists touch the table, legs touch a chair. It had nothing to do with stress. I did a total liver flush, not a liver cleanse, that would not have worked. After the flush all symptoms were gone.

I HAVE thethe exact same symptoms. About 10 yes ago, this started....tips of fingers swelling and red, then my arms even breasts, feet etc. Then tingling in my lip and I would tell my boyfriend...I'm getting one and within minutes I look like a blowfish..this was almost every day on different arts of my body for about 6 weeks. I was taking photos and took them to my GP. she said she had never seen anything like it. Now 10 yyes later, its back....the other day I was in Daytona beach, I woke up in so much pain. My neck and lips were so huge, it didn't even look like I had a neck...so we left the hotel early and headed home to be close to the hospital.....on the way, my tounge swelled up so badly on the right, I thought I was going to choke to death....by the time I got back home, it had gone down a bit. I don't have medical, so I took a risk on not going to the ER.... AGAIN, tonight my left index finger looks like I got stung by a hornet, its hot, swollen and throbbing. So who knows what I will wake up like tomorrow......please let me know if you find out anything....I have never used this site, so have no idea how I will see your reply..... or fb me......Tracy North in Florida....message me and write mystery disease..... thank you

Oh my goodness!! I cannot believe ive found this I am getting the same. Im a 34 year old female get random lip/cheek swellings for 2 uears. The other day my hands and eet were itchy then swollen, later that day my right knee, now its my left!

i see this was posted over a year ago. Have you found anything out on this. Seems a lot of folks out there are experiencing the same things but i have not yet read what its causes might be. I am 61 and i have been experiencing this 35-30 years. I carry a Benadryl or two with me wherever i go. If i take the 2 Benadryl immediately after the tingle (for those of you that have this condition know) i can arrest the swelling by 80 percent (really). The problem is that the Benadryl wipes me out. I tried taking just one but that dose is not as effective on reducing the swelling and my job requires me to be in front of people all day i would opt for the high feeling form the Benadryl and crash later than the massive swelling that can take place.

Mine just started in July really, where my hand and feet swelled so bad and I am a Google queen, so of course web md tells me I'm dying in some way, so by the end of the day that it started I had full histimine rash all over my body, I thought it might be allergies, had blood test done and it came back allergies to tons of things,. Wasn't right I eventually had to go to er because my primary didn't do squat. Er Dr put me on pepsid and an allergy pill stronger then benedryl, pepsid turns out is actually a histamine blocker, any who I did the 10 day supply and it got a bit better, but as soon as it was done it came back with a fury swollen palms feet and part of my lip, went to see primary again, and then here I get shipped for blood work for allergies and an allergist, in which the allergist told me I wasn't allergic to anything and that hives are mis construed to be allergies, and like I've read have to do with autoimmune issues/diseases etc... He also explained it has to be a long term treatment upwards to 6+ months, he currently has me on zyrtec and pepcid 10mg ,2x a day he said you can't listen to the pill bottles or I'll never get better... I was doing great and then... I tried weaning off as it's been since Aug.... And it came right back...

I've had this problem for years, and i think i figured it out

This was happening to me too. After about 5 years it finally happened in front of a dermatologist and he called it something and I cannot remember What exactly he called it but basically it my body creates too much histamine and he put me on a Allegra in the morning and Zyrtec at night and has kept it at Bay ever since. I decided to wean myself off of one of them so I don't get used to it and I started getting them back so I'm back on taking Allegra in the morning and Zyrtec at night. Its now been 8 years "bump" free

My wrist got very itchy and started to swell up the swelling lead all the way up to my pawm and fingers then later on it started to happen on the bottom of my foot so I put calamine lotion and it's started to reduce the itchiness I thinks it caused by an allergic reaction

I woke up one morning with my tongue swelled up.* hard to talk.. went away after couple hours couple days later my lip swelled up and the bridge of my nose swelled up to the inside of my eyeballs look like an alien it also passed after her for 5 hours since then about once a month I get little itchy balls on my feet Under the Skin they feel like fatty tissue but they also go away anybody knows who this is please

Same thing happened to me doctor told me I had hep C I quit drinking and it went away

This same feeling is happening to me but my body is itching and my fingers get stiff and swell up

I have been fighting this same illness for 35 years with no results. first started with my lip swelling so big that it split in the center. then it would be my feet my tongue my chin or cheek. I have been to several so called Doctors but that was a waste of money, They all say its angeodema but don't have a clue what triggers it. Any help would be of great appreciation.
