I will be having surgery and our having doubts as to if the Bertolotti's can truly be fixed. I have been dealing with this issue for 15 years due to a car accident. Would appreciate if you would send me the PDF to share with my doctor.

My daughter is 15 and diagnosed with Bertolotti's syndrome. She was in brace as well seemed to be a temporary fix. We go back to the doctor in 2 weeks to discuss other options. Let me know how its going for your daughter.

How long ago was your surgery? What are the long-term effects? Im having trouble finding long-term information on if this surgery cured patients. I have been in constant pain for 1 year now and am looking to have the surgery.

Could you join and report of your surgery on Bertilotti’s group has 800 members. I have never heard of a Dr here in California who is knowledgeable! TIA

I was diagnosed with Bertolotti about 15 years ago, For the first 10 years, I suffered with chronic low back pain as well as popping, grinding and sciatic nerve impingement. The last few years it has increasingly become worse. Within the last 6 months or so, I have been unable to walk without the help of forearm crutches. I have not been able to find a doctor in Utah who will treat me with having Bertolotti's. Does anyone happen to know of a doctor in Utah who is familiar with this condition? I am terrified that I will end up in a wheelchair soon if I am unable to get some help. Thank you, Jodi

How are you doing now 1 year later from your surgery for Bertolotti’s?
I am searching for a surgeon now. I am a long way from California, but getting desperate for relief.
