Two days back I noticed that I developed swelling just an inch above the place where penis starts, on my lower stomach.
I do not see any thing abnormal/unusual except for pain when I touch it.
What could it be?

I was wondering if you got a diagnosis on this. I have something similar. Just above the shaft under my pubic hair but a little to the left. No pain though. When I press on it it is soft and feels like maybe fluid in a sac, or fluid buildup, or a very soft tumor of some type. Thats what it feels like but unsure exactly. It is not on the penis, but to the left where the shaft starts, under the pubic hair. There is some type of buildup in there that has slightly swollen that area. Not painful in the least. I remember last month itching severely a few times in that spot,but did not notice the swelling until today. It never itches there no more. It has been three weeks or so since it last itched. Yes, I did. The Doctor said it was just a "pimple". If a hair strand grows "inwards" then this situation arises.
Doctor has punctured the pimple and applied antibiotic. I was also on some antibiotics for about a week.
But your situation might be different. So better conuslt your physician.

thx for the reply, There was a pimple there also!!! (right where the swelling is) or it may of been a small cyst, cuz i get those too. It was a nasty little pimple/cyst. I assumed thats what was causing the occasional itch I had. The cyst or pimple has eased up and thats when the itching stopped, if I remember right. It may be that the swelling may take longer to go. What did your swelling feel like? So your doctor said a pimple can cause it to swell in that area? You just may of eased my mind a whole lot. I beleive it was this small cyst or pimple that caused this swelling. I will give it a little longer, if no improvement then I'll see the doc. seems like swelling on bothsides , below belly button and above penis. swelling seems to be equal on both sides. no pain and soft to touch. almost seems like fatty issue
I have a similar situation on the right side. It is about 3 inches wide and 1 inch high. I am afraid if it may be cancer. It doesn't pain though.
just lie down on bed and press that swelling softly..if it is going inside, then its hernia..consult a doctor (surgeon) immediately...i have faced the same situation..nothing to worry..it can be cured easily by a good surgeon...but dont wait until it starts paining!
My swelling is on both sides of the penis as well as the skin on the penis,and no pain at all. What could cause it?

Hey guys, I have realised that this is a swelling of the lymph nodes, they run down the groin and there are a couple just above the penis on either side. My son has them after being bitten , the bites are infected which always ends up with his lymph glands swollen! He usually has bites on his scalp so the glands around his neck swell but this time they were all over his lower back so the lymph glands closest to the infection swell. Good luck, check it out as it means infection
Whether it's on the left or right of the Penis depends on whether you are looking down at it yourself, or looking at it from front on; and, if you are looking at in a mirror, it will be not on te side you think. if it's above the left leg, it would seem that it it's above the right leg, but would look like it's above the left leg where it actually is. This is because of the Reflection.
I also have what this sounds like, above my Right Leg. It's not there all the time, but appears pretty regularly. Mine will go down if I lay on my left side and raise my right leg so my knee is touching my stomach, and keep my left leg straight. It will also go down if I lay down naked and place a hot (or very warm) cup of coffee of other liquid on it. It only gets painful sometimes.

Please help me I m having a lot of pain at upper right of the penis and it is also swollen I m afried of surgery I m only 16 yr help can't share this to anyone
I have this, too, and it has continued for about two years at that (though, it is somewhat on both sides with more on the right side). There is no apparent pimple or cyst, however. Concerns me as well!
I noticed it when i was taking a shower a week ago. Its on the upper right side above my penis..its a little swollen but when i touch it it feels soft..sometimes that area feels a little cold and its uncomfortable sometimes. Any information would be helpfil
Same for me. Just above, but to the right. No pain on that direct spot, but several days ago my right testicle was quite sore.
