That's exactly what my sister has what you have, Mine started with Fibromylagia and Tmj , 12 years ago, and the past 6 years besides having, Rosacea, ocular rosacea, enzema, severe oral issues, inflammed acute chronic pancreatis, chronic fatique, chronic pain, itching, recurrent yeast infection. 2 Years ago I got diagnosed with sijondren disase. since than I have this but mimic other auto immune diseases such as celiac disease, chrohn disease and the list just goes on . I went back to a new Doctor and ask she was really good and took almost 2 hours to listen to the beginning when my chronic nightmare started to until recently . At the Doctors office I mimic Gerd syndrome. After testing came back and sending to a specialist it came out I had H Pylori , My Sister with Exactly Your Symptoms had H Pylori too. Please get checked after treatment all your symptoms will go away.
I just want to say to everyone on this board -- make sure it's not related to a concussion. A lot of mild head injuries lead to some serious lasting side effects that never get diagnosed properly. There are new treatments that can fix this very quickly but doctors (especially neurologists) don't think to look for these because they're not part of their medical training. A mild brain concussion can create problems with vision and balance, which create massive amounts of fatigue, nausea and back pain without the patient having a clue it's connected to this. My ex girlfriend had all the symptoms you are describing and is seeking treatment b/c of a head injury she suffered trying to do a head stand in yoga. Please look into this angle.
I'm sorry to hear about your issues, but at the same time so glad I'm not the only one!!!! For over a year now I've had all the same symptoms, plus was diagnosed with COPD (I'm only 32 and have never smoked). After multiple blood tests, a mammogram due to the swollen lymph nodes under my arm (they told me they were swollen probably due to an infection which they didn't even try to diagnose and I'd been on antibiotics for months by then due to chronic bronchitis and other undiagnosed infections) and being sent to a psychiatrist and put on multiple antidepressants....I gave up. I wasn't depressed or a hypochondriac, just frustrated that nobody would help me. It's been 8 months since my last drs visit and I got off all meds...I'm still having all the same issues, I just gave up on the whole medical system since they wouldn't help me. I hope it works out for you.
Check for mono. I have allllllll symptoms listed above and eventually got tested for mono after a long process of trying to figure out what it was and that was the winner. However hearing about depression that could just be an add on too if you're diagnosed with mononucleosis. Just a throught.
Please check for Lyme disease. Yoursymptoms sound exactly like mine (and many others with Lyme)
Find a Lyme literate Doctor to treat you. There really is light at the end of the tunnel. Best of luck.
test for thyroid antibodies and not just TSH...I had euthryoid/normal TSH levels but high thyroid antibodies indicating Hashimoto's.....always test antibodies with all other thyroid tests which include free t3 and free t4 and reverse t3...these are better indicators for thyroid disease over just TSH alone.
every symptom the poster listed I had and had to have a total thyroidectomy due to nodules....autoimmune thyroid disease is not something to mess with...
@littlelady329287 I know this is a long shot but you may want to google Chiari Malformation and if you feel it could fit discuss it with your doctor. It's a rare neurological disorder that can cause everything from headaches, extreme fatigue, and dizziness to heavy/painful menstrual cycles and swollen glands. It can also cause tingling and numbness of the extremities especially the hands and feet, nausea, lightheadedness, memory issues, balance/coordination problems, chronic pain, tremors, weight gain and dozens of other symptoms like tachy/bradycardia, problems with organs, tinnitus and visual problems. I was diagnosed 3 years ago after a month of symptoms just like yours but it normally takes others a long time to be diagnosed because many people, including those in the health profession, don't even know chiari exists or if they do, they don't understand it. It may not be chiari but it's worth looking into. If your wanting your chronic pain and fatigue to be treated but without medications you may want to look into acupuncture. It's the only treatment out of 14 different medications, botox, pain injections, nerve blocks and brain surgery that has helped me significantly with decreasing my pain and boosting my energy while helping me fix my sleep cycle.
You have Celiac disease young lady. Period
Have you ever been checked for Lyme ?? It sound just what I had 4 years ago and after lots of test it came back I had Lyme and 2 co- infections! Get tested if you have not done yet but get a doctor who believes Lyme exists !! Good luck! I feel the pain all over...
I see this is old, but wanted to let people know your tsh should be between .3 and 3.0 not .5 and 5....that might be the problem if you are still experiencing all those symptoms. They changed the ranges like 8 years ago but not a lot of primary docs know that.
Hi There,
I'm a 57 male, and have all but one of your symptoms, !!!
I looked up them all on a health checker website, and it came up with mercury poisoning via old amalgam fillings, as I want to have them all replaced this could take some time. But as I see you are only 20 I doubt that this is your cause. I hope you feel beller soon. x
