I kissed my husband who grew a mustache. Then became irritated on my top lip this has the last for four months why? My top lip was swollen for about a day or two and since then it's just been irritated dry and and bumpy. I love his new mustache and don't want him to shave it. But I do miss kissing him. Help!

Nice to hear that someone else has this problem. When we were first married, my husband grew a full beard and the mustache and beard were kind of rough. That tore up my lips and face and those regions stayed irriated and sore for a long time. I had to stop kissing him. I didn't want him to shave it off either but eventually he had to. You may have the same problem I have which is a bruise syndrome which makes my cells soft and easily broken/bruised and once that happens it takes my cells a long time to heal. I hate to say it, but I don't think your problem is going to go away unless your husband shaves.
what if he used conditioner to soften it?
