I am curretnly taking a combo pill of hydrocodone/acetomenifen 7.5-325MG for the higher pain, and a follow up dose of ibuprofen 600MG for the lesser pain. This was prescribbed after a lung biopsy proceedure a week ago. I have not had a chance to ask the doctor for a good explanation about this. So please help me understnad this. I do plan to call the doctores office on Monday.

hope you won't have to take this big dose of ibuprofen for long, mainly because this medication is notorious for causing stomach problems, even the serious ones like stomach bleeding and ulcers. However, it can be taken together with acetaminophen. The only problem that might come up is stomach upset if you have to take one pill after the first one, and as far as ibuprofen is concerned, eating just a few bites of food before you take it can help eliminate the stomach problems,
