I am a 22 year old male and I tried cocaine on a whim for the first time, foolish me. I barley had any sleep the entire week and was just overtly stressed in general. On Friday, about 1 hour before doing my first two lines I drank an entire bottle of mountain dew. Went to a friends house where we did the lines of coke.
About 30 minutes after sniffing the two lines I was in my friends car with him driving and all of a sudden my heart started racing like crazy, I started freaking out, I told me him take me to the ER but then said no I think im just having a severe panic attack, needless to say I was terrified, I was staring out of the window of the car and my heart of pounding, my arms, particularly my hands got slightly numb and tingly, I was lightheaded/having a headrush and I was barley moving and just trying to breath deeply and normally. Thank god my friend was in the car with me when this happened as while I was freaking out I was searching on my iphone cocaine heart attack etc which probably only gave me worse anxiety.
I told him to park in front of the ER just to make me comfortable and that if anything happens, like if I faint or pass out then to go into the ER room. I relaxed and two hours post sniffing the coke my heart rate was still elevated but no where near as it was initially and I felt extremely drained and fatigued.
I am never doing cocaine again, the hell with that, I am just wondering did I have a mild heart attack or severe panic attack, because I feel fine now 2-3 days later. While I was freaking out during the cocaine use, I didn't experience any like painful chest pains, just slight tingly in arms and a headrush with a racing heartbeat.
I know for a fact I will not be doing it again screw that, opinions will be greatly appreciated, I just did not expect this to happen the way it did, what seemed like an anxiety attack from hell.

All you had was a panic attack. Some people like different drugs, some like none. Some people flip out after the first time, some never, some several times after thier first use. You of course fall under the first time use. The quality & amount will play a big part on how it affects you.
Hi, you probably had an excess dopamine level on your system. Do some research to find out. I had similar experience, it's near a psychotic episode. Cocaine inhibits cocaine reuptake in your synaptic vesicles and if enough builds up without regulation, excess dopamine levels symptoms develop.
