I'm 18 yrs old. I've been having sex with my boyfriend of 2 years for 9 months now. We use different types of safe sex, such as condoms, he pulls out or we have sex around the times that I'm not fertile. Over all we are pretty safe. My periods have been pretty irregular since we started having sex, but this time it hasn't come at all. They have been starting on the 18th and ending on the 22 or 23rd. My last period was only four days long. I'm not using any kind of birth control or any medicines. We took a test using first response on the 24th and it came out negative, it is now the 28th. The month is almost up and still no period. Could i be pregnant or will it just start at the beginning of the next month?
I was also wondering if it does start up again is there still a chance that i may be pregnant?
They say that there's a possibilty that your hCG level might be low in the beginning of pregnancy. So if i were you I'd wait a little while longer and if still no period take another test. And after you still don't have it then try to make an appointment with the doctor to figure it out
My other problem is that my boyfriend just can't seem to believe that i may be pregnant. He says that I'm just freaking out over a late period and it will come any day now. I keep trying to tell him how serious it is and that we need to take types like going to see a doctor. Is there any way or thing i can say to him to get him to understand my seriousness about this.
