This is very interesting campaign that encourages people to test them selfs with HIV. The thing is that you send an text message to a designated number with their ZIP code, and then they receive a text message with informations about nearest HIV's testing center. Those who send message or forward it have a chance to win a 50$ gift card. And if somebody replays that he/she has already tested has a chance of wining a 200$ gift card.
I almost forget to say that this is an Illinois Department of Health project.
Has anybody participated in this project already? Do you think that this project will have good response from people?

That sounds like a really good idea and I'd like to hear how the project goes! I know that getting people to get tested for HIV is really hard. I know that I like to know my status so I get tested every time I go to the doctor but I know a lot of other people don't want to know. I don't know why you wouldn't want to know, but I think a gift card is would be a good incentive.
Gift card is a good idea. But if anyone has a chance to have HIV, he should go and test himself. He needs to protect people around him also.
This is a good way to raise awareness that this is really important thing.
But do you think that people will test them selfs just because of the gift card?
