Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this symptom. I am a healthy 42 y.o. male. Just last week I had a wicked itching of my penis shaft and scrotum. Upon examination, I found my shaft to be flaking and dry. Got some 1% hydrocortisone and have been using it for the last few days. Itching and dryness of the shaft and scrotum is gone but now I have a strange tingling sensation almost at the base of my scrotal sac. It's not constant but it comes and goes and I especially notice it when lying down in bed in a relaxed manner. I initially thought that it's just my scrotum skin retracting but I'm not sure. No pain, burning, swelling or anything associated with this. Anyone have any ideas what's going on here?

hey there just looked at your post .... i too have had a very irritable scrotum sometimes head of penis ... I have been to the doctor to have it examined, thought that maybe the missus had been playing away but no the doctor said its not an STD of any kind he could say on, but was thinking more of a dry skin disorder the same sort of scenario you had yourself in. All i have used is a sensitive skin soap and the skin does look alot better though have to admit sleeping is hard when you wake up with an unbelieveable urge to scratch lol.... have to say very happy its not an STD ! Doc said it should clear in time if not have a patch test see if there is anything that might be affecting that area in particular.
