I had/have the same problem with a severe pain in my wrists and elbows that wakes me during the night hours. I also suffer this mildy in my feet. Mine stems form a circulation issue of collapsing veins that don't allow enough blood flow. Physical stimulation was the key to resolution. I get massage therapy 3 times a week (spa or medical both work) and have small and gentle vibrating wraps that I use daily in the eveing hours during my down time while reading or sitting for 15-20 minutes on my arms and then lower legs. This has pretty much stopped the episodes from happening. However, with that said, I do occasionally (every couple of months) still experience these issues for a day or so after extreme activities, at which point I use the gentle stimulaters twice a day for a few days and I am good to go again. I am a very active 37 year old female with no other medical issue besides being anemic which I have under complete control. I take no medicines. I work and have a healthy diet and am not over weight. I added that so there is a comparison in physical cases.

Thank you. This sounds more like what I need to go back too. I had been doing what you stated and then stopped. Now the pain has gotten worse and more frequent.

I also have this going on, sometimes the burning pain in my hands gets so bad it feels like my hands are swollen and could burst but no swelling. This all started after going off my Thyroid med's was thinking this was the cause but I'm back on my med's and this still persists
