I'm goin on five days now and I have been eating and drinking as much as one possibly can. My pain medication is in my mouth around the clock, I went thru the first 240 ml supply in three days, which the pharmacist insisted it was only a 3 day supply, thank goodness because I was freaking out. I picked up my other bottle of pain medication but I kno it is not gonna last until my post op visit, n that's taking it how I should. Let me remind u I'm not a drug addict, I'm a mother of two beautiful boys n a nurse myself to top it off. This pain is indescribable n I dunno what to do except call the doc n have him load me up again. Then to top it off my husband threw away my steroid pills(only 3) not meaning to, they were for swelling n pain. So now I gotta call my doc for steroids n narcs, but let me rip your tonsils out n then u tell me how u feel. He wrote me six days worth, I c him in nine! Extra fluids do not help and I have had no sleep in three nights because I'm up every hr on the hr to take the medication. Now that my steroid pills are at the dump I can only assume its gonna get worse :'(
