Hello, I bet I broke a record here! I am 60 and it has been 3 weeks post surgery as of tomorrow. I still have pain and unable to put strain on my throat. I was unable to hit high notes while singing. I am naturally a Soprano. I love singing and was a bit heart broken to find I am still not where I hoped to be by now. Another thing is I had issues with the pain meds tearing into my stomach! I tried Zantac and I get headaches. I also have chills. I have yet to pin-point why. I see my regular doctor this Thursday. So all you 50 plus folk, it takes a while to get back strong. At least it has for me. GOD bless you all and a speedy recovery. O
