Hey guys! I'm 15 years old and I had a tonsillectomy on Monday [morning] and for the past few days, I've had body aches [all over like my shoulder, arms, legs, abdominal area, and back] and the tip of my uvula is white. I've been able to eat well like shave ice, pudding [amazingly], ice cream [today for the first time], almond float [minus the fruits], and sucking on ice chunks. My parents don't know why I'm having such severe body aches to a point where i need help to get out of bed [which is more like sitting] and why the tip of my uvula is white. So, if you guys know what is going on with my body aches and uvula, your comments/help would be much appreciated.

Ps. Soaking in hot water helped with the body aches. Also, I don't know if this was from soaking but I also had a 100.1ºF "fever"
I am pretty sure that the body ache could be related to just having been through the surgery. I know it's been a week since you have actually had the surgery so could you let us know how you are doing now? I think it would help us to know how you are doing because you might have gotten the solution to your problem by this point and it would help others. THanks for posting!

I had my tonsils removed yesterday, and am suffering with extreme body aches as well. When I sit or lay down, I almost can't get up on my own. Does anyone know what this is from? I know surgery is trauma to your body, but I wasn't ecpecting the pain all over my body to be worse (for now) in my throat.
