Hello I have a daughter, 24 years of age. Couple of years ago, she was diagnosed with epilepsy. She often had convulsions, with fainting and spasms. Well, side effects in this type of drugs are almost inevitable. As for Topomax, usually prescribed dosage is 200 400 mg per day (this amount because of convulsions). There are side effects, but do not let that frighten you, those do not emerge in all patients (occurrence also depends on the dosage).
