I have heard that the most effective treatment of adrenoleukodystrophy in children is treatment with steroids. I have a dislike towards steroids and I am wondering what the other treatment options are for adrenoleukodystrophy in children, that do not carry the same nasty side effects? Hearing from you would be great.
