I am soon to have a triple laminectomy on the discs between L3, L4, L5 and S1 and I am wondering how long the recovery period is. What I can and cannot do within the recovery period and after the operation must I sleep on my back, side or front.
I had 4 lamina removed on 6/20. L2-3-4-5. 4 days in hosp.
I sleep on either side, do not sit for more than 15-20 min., house bound since coming home (3 weeks), walk around house every hour or so(all Dr, reccomended).
Pain shifted from leg to leg for several days, since then pain is miminal.
