Please help me!
I am a 16 year old female, and a virgin. So this is NOT an STD.
About a week or two ago, I noticed my pubic area was extremely itchy. I tried not to scratch it, but I believe I did in my sleep. A few days later, many small red bumps appeared. Once again, I scratched them. Now, they have gotten worse. They are redder, bigger, and some are even pus-filled- very pus-filled. The itchiness is almost unbearable. I also feel some tingling down there. Moreover, they are painful when clothing rubs against them, or they are irritated. These bumps are all over where the hair grows, but not on the inside of the vagina. And I have never had any vaginal problems before. Oh yeah, and there are two small sections of what looks as though it is raw skin.. probably a result of itching. (Which I have FORCED myself to stop, by the way) and these are the most pus-filled. I can't confide in my parents, because they are on vacation for another week or so. I've tried wearing loose clothing, and placing a hot cloth over the area for long periods of time last night, and this seemed to help a bit. Unfortunately, I went to bed, and woke up this morning with no improvements. If anything, it is getting worse. Could this be a result of many ingrown hairs? I've never had them before. But the bumps look like a rash, because there are so many of them. I would appreciate any suggestions as to what this might be and how I can treat it, because it is extremely uncomfortable!
Thanks so much!
Do you shave down in that area? If so then you need to gently scrub it with a face cloth dipped in the hottest water you can tollerate - to open the pore and toe let the traped hair out!

IF you haven't it sounds like you are having a major reaction to a scent! Probably a soap, laundry detergent etc. In the meantime see if you can get a squirt bottle and som hydrogen peroxide, in the bottle fill it almost to the top with VERY warm water - the hottest you can stand without burning - and 2 tblsps of Hydrogen Peroxide! After showering and using aonly a non scented cleanser - such as spectrogel, physioderm or Terasceptic, squirt the solution on the area and dab dry! Then put som Polysporin ant ictch medication on the rash! This will help with the itching and the puss! Also do you have an white discharge or it smells a bit down there?
