Hello! Last week I have discovered that I have a kidney tumor. My doctor suggested me kidney tumor ablation and I have accepted. Now, I am undergoing kidney tumor ablation. Can you tell me something more about this method, because I do not know anything of it? To be honest with you, I hope that it will work for me. Thanks!
Hello! Tumor ablation is non surgical operation. This method destroys tumor with one of following techniques: cryotherapy, interstitial radiofrequency ablation, high-intensity focused ultrasound, laser coagulation, etc. I can tell you that this method is better then all others because it preserving kidney function as much as that is possible. I hope that this helps you!

i have a kidney tumor that is 2.1 cm, i had a partial nerphectomy by laproscopy and the doc took out healthy tissue rather than the tumor.
i then developed a bad infection, my kidney abcess and i was presented to ICU with septic shock.
after 9 days in the hospital i cant have that surgury again.
the only way i can keep my kidney & my kidney functions is to have a radio frequency ablation.
i have no idea what the success rate is or the long term results. does anyone know?
