Around 1 year ago I had unprotected anal sex with a guy. The following day I started to experience discomfort after passing stools, discharge and itching. I was living abroad at the time and didn't have private insurance so the doctor treated me blindly for all treatable STD's, gave me various creams and sent me to see a specialist over the next few months but the symptons still remained. I returned home recently and had an STD screening but all of the results came back negative.
Is it possible that the anal sex has damaged me inside causing the discomfort, discharge and subsequently the itching?
One thing that bothers me is that the itching is always in the same two places on my skin. I normally have the hair removed from my anal area and had done so on the day of the unprotected sex could this be a contributing factor?
Please help its been 1 year and my doctors don't seem to be much help! 8-|

if there is itching it may be herpes, herpes is hard to find with tests but itching don't lie...don't put on it any cream with cortisone if you don't want to worsen it...don,t touch there with your fingers...your body , if it's that will cope with it but it will take time....depending of the severity of the infection...good luck!
I wonder if you have an undiagnosed yeast infection? Yeast infections can cause oozing, odor, itching, etc., and yeast can grow almost anywhere on the body, or in the body. It's a nasty fungus that is difficult to get rid of. It usually means that your system is out of balance. You might want to do a google on systems for anal yeast infections, and then get some ideas on how you may go about treating it. Probiotics, which help your immune system by supporting the intestines and colon is something that everyone should consider, regardless of health. I read that a good 70% of a person's immune system is found within the GI tract of which the colon is part. Probiotics, which are used to re-establish a good bacteria to bad bacteria ratio within your system, help keep yeast in check within your system. Although this suggestion will probably not cure your current condition, it will help your body fight infections in the future.
ingrowing hair maybe???
