I was told that you had to wait until you finished one pack of the Alesse Pills in order to have unprotected sex and not get pregnant. I waited another week after I finished my first pack, and he finished inside of me. This was almost 3 weeks ago.
I was getting worried because I didn't start my period when the green sugar pills started; I got it on the Tuesday instead. But my period is very dark, and I'm not sure if this is normal or not? I have been stressing ever since we had sex, and I'm not sure if this has to do with anything but my lower back has started hurting. Should I be worried?

Women do, rarely but do, get pregnant on the pill sometimes. The darker color of the blood may have been caused by the pill itself. The lower back pain could be menstrual cramping. That's where mine is always the worst, to the point where it keeps me up at night most months.
If you're still worried, get a First Response home pregnancy test. I've read this is the best on the market at detecting early pregnancy amounts of HcG.
Good luck!

Well, this morning my period went from being really dark to really bright and kinda liquid-y, and now it's almost completely stopped, and it only started 2 days ago. I'm thinking of going to a clinic to get tested, but does it matter whether it's a blood test or a urine test?
A blood test tends to be more accurate, but most clinics give urine tests. They're able to detect more of the hormone than home pregnancy tests.
When I took Plan B my "period" (the bleeding it caused me to have, ended up counting as a period) was the exact same. It was the very first time I had ever taken a hormone (Plan B is basically a really high dose birth control pill). Is this the first period you've had on birth control?

No, it's my second. But right now I don't have any signs of anything, really. I mean, my breasts aren't sore, my back feels fine, and I don't have any cramps. So I guess this means I'm okay? =\
I just finished my second pack of alesse (28) 3 days ago and I still haven't got my period. Could I be pregnant? The first month I was spotting on and off. I take it at the same time every day.
