Ok so i have been on the Depo provera shot for almost 4 months now. I have never had full unprotected sex without my boyfriend pulling out. that is until just recently. We had sex without a condom and he did not pull out. However i am on the shot and had it just about 2 weeks ago. I am worried I could be pregnant from this....what are my chances? any help???? thanks
Information from american pregnancy on how depo provera works:
First, it prevents the ovaries from releasing an egg, which is also known as ovulation.
Second, it thickens the cervical mucus which acts as a barrier preventing the sperm from reaching the egg.
Third, it changes the lining of the uterus preventing implantation
