So, my Dad had this procedure nearly 12 weeks ago. He was told to expect some incontinence up to 3 months afterwards, but that is should gradually improve over time. He really has had no improvement and finally went for what I think is the cystometry test, where they test for bladder pressure. They couldn't complete the test because whatever liquid was introduced just came right back out. He's a passive patient and doesn't ask questions, and the doctor is apparently not forthcoming. I'm coaching his wife from a distance to get proactive to get some input and options. Has anyone had experience with this? What should they be asking about? He is spending his days in the lazy boy with diapers because he has absolutely no bladder control and no direction from medical providers about anything else to do.
