I had to have a complete hysterectomy when I was 30. I had uterine cancer. I was never able to have children. My husband and I would love to have a child togethor. I know there is always different options. I would love to be able to carry my own child. I'm 40 now. Please if there is anything you can advise us, it will be greatly appreciated.

At this point, uterine transplants are still considered experimental. Finding a hospital or doctor that can even attempt it will be a challenge. Downtown Hospital in New York was considering it a few years ago.
The other possibility is harvesting one of your eggs, fertilizing it with your husbands sperm, and then implanting it into a "gestational carrier."
