Vaginal bleeding wihile taking Garcinia Cambogia

hey! im so glad i am not the only other femal with this problem! i was getting very scared. i am birth control and a have normal period every month. i startedtaking garcinia about a week ago and i have been bleeding and having brownish dischageand just had my period two weeks ago. now i know and i will not taking anymore of these pills!!b

YEP, happened to me too.... WITHIN 2 days, started bleeding.....

I completely missed by period, and have been spotting DAILY. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. I went to the doc, and everything checked out OK. 

When I decided to LOG everything I had eaten/drank for a week, I FOUND THE MISSING LINK!!! THE GC PILLS!!!!

I WILL STOP TAKING THEM TODAY- NO PILL IS WORTH DAILY BLEEDING!!!

THEY DID WORK THOUGH, LOST 6 LBS in 2 weeks! NO APPETITE, just SLIGHT nausea....

kinda bummed out, but relieved to know what was causing this....

im so glad i found this site cause i was going crazy with worry. I started the pill I used Ayur Slim in which the main ingredient is garcinia cambogia. ive been on it for about a month now. I had my period on time on the 3rd but then again i had bleeding after that twice. I was so scared but after reading this page I am feeling so releived that im not the only one. I was freaking out. I will stop the pill its just not worth it. Thanks.

How long did it take to get back to normal after you stopped the pills? cause i have the same problem that you had.

also having the same issue, however i have been taking garcinia for three days, feels like a normal period but doesn't look like it, it just looks like blood in the urine. will try the stop/start technique

Did u get ur period later on? I took the pills for about 2 weeks and than stopped and havenf taken one for over 2 weeks.and I don't hve my period it's been 5 days.went to the doctor and she said my pregnancy test is negative.so confused

Just searched this subject because my girlfriend took this supplement and immediately began to have heavy vaginal bleeding, despite not having had a period for years.  Multiple other websites all say the same.  This product is awful!!!!!!!!

I am 2 weeks late. Have had multiple negative preggo tests and know for a fact I am not pregnant. and was taking Garcinia for about 3 weeks. I stopped taking it and hope my period starts soon. I'm not happy with this side effect and will be telling all my friends to be careful if they take it.

Garcinia cambogia has been great in terms of suppressing my appetite and controlling my cravings. What it hasn't been so great for is vaginal bleeding. After taking these pills, usually within a few minutes I start having menstrual-like cramps and then the bleeding starts. Sometimes it's light or sometimes moderate. I've tried three different brands and it happens with every brand. I always take LESS in a day than what is recommended on the bottle, so I know it's not an overdosing issue. Disappointed with this side effect. I'm going to have to stop or take this pill on rare occasions.

Same this is happening to me Kno I had my period last month around the time I started taking the garcina... Now this month my period is late... I havent taken a test yet so idk if I'm preggers but I doubt I am...

I have fibroids and my periods are always heavy, long, and very painful. I started taking GC 2 weeks ago and started my period on time but have had no cramping at all. I haven't taken any Advil and haven't felt fatigued AT ALL. I am still having a heavy and long cycle but totally pain free. I am 38 and so happy to finally have a pain free period

i feel as if i'm reading about my very own experience. My period has been so regular like for 20 plus years, the this garcinia cambogia is messing up my cycle. i am really disappointed, and like you i haven't lost a single pound after 6 weeks, what the heck!!!

I am postmenopausal! I haven't had a period in 2 years prior to starting GC.  I have ovarian cysts, and a uterine fibroid. I also have HPV. I purchased mine at Walmart, it contains no stimulants, and is pure.  The bottle called for 4 pills 3 times a day.  I only took a total of 3 pills for the entire day.  I started on on a Tuesday, continued taking them until Saturday morning. Saturday, I only had 1 pill for the entire day. I was bloated, crampy, and had back pains.  Sunday, I started spotting with severe pain in lower left stomach. Monday, bleeding was getting worse, it was pinkish brown. I went to the ER thinking I ruptured a cyst, or something. The ER said I had diverticulitis. I had no idea what this was. Now I'm on meds and a liquid diet and still in pain. And still bleeding. They didnt check any of my female parts. Today is Wednesday and I have to wait weeks to see a doctor. I am scared it might be cancer. I WISH I WOULD OF FOUND THIS FORUM SOONER! PLEASE DON"T TAKE THIS c**p!

Hi I bought a product containing this in it, everything was fine until yesterday, day 5 taking it when I experienced vaginal bleeding (which I wasn't expecting for another week, yes I may be a day or two out usually but never a whole week), ignored it and assumed I was early (really early), this morning woke up bleeding still there and there was a huge blood clot (usually get a little every now and then on my period, but never like this), and now I have found the connection I am going to stop taking the product, not worth it!! Also some have said cramping I have no experienced that, that's what is weird, I normally have cramps on my period on the first day or two but this time I havent :/
