Thank you! I feel ya girlfriend. TRIED EVERYTHING. I diligently douched, shoved pills, creams, supplements, oh gosh, I have spent entirely to much money on this, and have gone through 10 large bottles of peroxide. But after 12 years, of the appropriately dubbed "wall of goo" I just can't bring myself to give up on what I know is my awesome, slippery, wet, no shame needed vagina, that has been possesed by whatever it is, I can't quite diagnose, neither can doctors, that has consumed my life. I never had any relief from any treatment. I research atleast 3 times a week, and I'm at my wits end! I think the closest I got to an answer, was my last gyno diagnosed atrophic. But he didn't do an exam, it was his best guess since I'm seemingly a hopeless cause. No ladies, its NOT normal! I know its not. Its not birth control, but hormones, I assume, do play a part in this complicated issue. I get so sad reading about all the BV sufferers getting cured in 3 days from tea tree oil, or peroxide. Well, I'm happy for them really. I just wonder if my day of joy will ever come? Yes, same symptoms as all of you. No luck with anything :( And I love sex! I can't wait for the day my husband can go at me like my body is meant for him to. Ya feel me ladies? I am going to try this oil concoction :) I feel good about it. In the mean time, while waiting for it to arrive, I shall try baking soda, just in case ;) all of you know its not right, let's not give up on our wonder vag that we were born with ok? Bless your hearts, all of you!

Ok, I can tell you right now, this is going to be a very long post! But so has my battle with this. As I mentioned in my last post, 12 years. I want to give the rundown of my history, and what I have tried, and learned. But before I do, I want to say, that this thread, has BY FAR, been the most useful. And I have read thru so many over the years. So if you are here, you are in the right place. Ok, on to my soap box- I started being sexually active at a very young age. I've always been very sexual, and curious. I had a couple partners, before my first serious relationship when I was 16. It was my 3 rd time with him, I noticed, what I call "the slip" was gone. Sure enough, it was that nastiness, we are so freustrated with. I was treated for BV. It only slightly cleared for 1 day. I was a young teen, and to embarrassed to go back. And ever since then, flagyl, ugh!, cleocin, and metrogel, have not done a thing for me. And the docs kept saying there was no BV present. I would go a couple years before giving it another try, still no answer or result. Since my boyfriend, I have only been with 2 other men. I was married to one, and now remarried to the other. So I know its not them. I had 1 day, repeat, 1 day to spend time with my beloved vagina being normal when I was 23. I had my tonsils removed, and was on amoxicillin. I was drinking a LOT of water! But it went away within 1 day, I cried. Well, 3 years ago, I decided to take matters into my own hands, anbd have, practically every single day since, been doing something to my vag, to bring it back. I have read countless pages and threads. And a week ago, with still no sign of change, I started to lose hope, after I had built it up so high, that I could do this. I had decided that since, all the remedies for BV were doing absolutely nothing, despite all the other success stories, maybe it wasn't really BV? I am std free, I know, I have been tested several times. (I have 4 children) I am not on bc, what the hell is it???? I refuse to accept that this is my fate, and to live with it! I know my healthy vag is under there, and I can get it back! So here I am, to this thread. After all these years of doctors, and research, diet changes, ect, I have learned the following is very important in finding just the right remedy for your unique body. 1. Yes, it is ph related. But this is tricky! Test strips will reveal it can be high, low, or just fine, but the actual solution, wether it be apple cider or baking soda, is something you just have to play with. 2. If there is infection, get that treated. Tea tree oil, or anti biotic, your choice. 3. If the goo still remains, that means its either to many cells shed, and your vag is overly safe lol! Which I am starting to think is me. Or, you have a lack of the proper lacti. You just have to play around to see where your body responds, bcz, they are opposite sides of the treatment spectrum. I can't tell you how many femdopholis's I have shoved up there. 4. Do your research! Apparently there are different kinds of BV, or related things. Endometriosis, cyst, cervical issues, staph!find things that relate to your symptoms, and bring them up to the doc. They are to pressed for time to do that part. Or if you can't see a doc, apply for state coverage. It only covers bc and paps, but after pushing the limits, I discovered, it covers most gyno visits and issues, and scripts! 5. Douching may work, it may not. This may work, that might not. Its about becoming an alchemist in your bathroom, and messing with things until you find out what's really going on. Don't give up! This is NOT normal, and its up to us to lay the ground work here, for a change to be made in the gyno field. This is a very real problem, and I refuse to accept to live with it. I'm so tired of feeling like every single other female has a one up on me, bcz she has a normal vag. I have yet to find my cure. But after reading this thread last night, I have started the baking soda today, and so far so good! I am concerned about the lube and oils theory bcz she said she hasn't gone without it to see if her body is normal on its own. I have enough experience with masking, to know that this could be the case? But I sure hope not! My heart goes out to all of us, I share your pain. Let's fix this. Thank you!

Im the girl who posted about the lube with the rose geranium/palmarosa essential oils.  It's been working awesome for me.  I have also added myrrh, lavender and frankincense I found at the health food store.  I have no discharge anymore.  I have sex with my boyfriend without being self conscious.  I walk around comfortable all day again!  Imissmyvag..I understand what you are saying about my body not clearing the discharge if I went without the lube.  Probably not!  But I am using it as an anti-microbial preventative.  I payed a private clinic to do a complete physical.  According to them, I'm in optimal health.  No cysts, no hormone issues, no thyroid issues...etc etc.  I am 32 and this problem occurred in my late 20's.  I think some microbe has invaded my vaginal flora and the lube is keeping it under control.  Doctors won't do anything about this because they are only concerned if its an infection.  Anyway, the more I read, the more fascinating essential oils are!  I also read that if you think you have vaginaatrophy to use the oils of clary sage, rose geranium, neroli and lavender.  Anyway, I'm sticking to it because this is the most normal I have felt in three years and I feel hot again! Hehe. Oh and if u do have cysts...frankincense is supposed to help with that too.

That really is awesome! Dang, you payed a clinic? And still a clean bill of health eh? What the heck is this?! That makes sense about the microbes. Its blowing my mind. I did the baking soda for 2 days, and I thought it was working, and I got excited! But I don't think it is really :( I love the info u shared about the oils, thank you so much! You're so right, oils are fascinating! I completely believe in their wonders. I'm def going to give this a try. Is it exspensive to keep up on the supplies? I am very happy to hear you feel hot again! That's awesome! I wonder what exact mix of oils I will need?? I really do think you're on the right track :) I'm 28, and lost all of my sexually active youth to this bs. I just want the slip back! So I can't tell you thank you enough for sharing what you learned, and not charging us 40 bucks to hear it from you lol! That is really kind of you :) best of luck girlfriend!

P.S. Essential oils: thank you for responding. It seems like every one else put their 2 cents in and burnt out, never looking back. I really want to hear about everyones trial with this and what they used, everyones results, successful or not. I've never ever posted in a forum before, of any kind. But I am on a mission here! And I think its to the point where I can't do it alone anymore, and to jhave come across this thread, where others have the exact same thing, is somewhat relieving. I mean, I wish we didn't have this problem, but none the less, I'm glad its being talked about here. I am going to try the oils and lube, and I will post my results. Btw- the baking soda- it made my juice thinner, that's why I thought it was working, but it also made it smell really bad! Like un natural. I don't know, maybe I need to keep doing it a little longer? I just don't know anymore :'(

His ok so I would stop the baking soda.  Baking soda will make your vagina more alkaline.  It's only effective if you have cytolytic vaginosis.  I don't think you do because your symptoms are similar to mine.  The only thing the baking soda did for me was throw of my ph even more.  To be honest, I had no idea what douching even was until I got this problem.  I was so desperate to make it go away that I resorted to douching and suppositories etc etc.  My belief is the more u mess around with things, the worse we exacerbate the problem.  Anyway, try the essential oil blend with the lube.  It doesn't feel so invasive to just put a bit of lube up there everyday.  I think somehow it's slowly correcting the ph and perhaps killing some microbe.  Everyday my vag feels better and better.  I was thinking about it almost every minute of the day for the last three years because I was so uncomfortable.  I'm going back to not thinking about this anymore....good sign it's working!!  Initially buying the oils isn't cheap...but it's not too pricey...and u only need to use a few drops whenever you blend it into the lube.  So really, it's not that costly...the oils will last a long time.  I hope this works for u and gives you some relief.  This is my own experience but im hoping it works for someone else as well.  I'm just speculating at what this could be since I have a clean bill of health.  Bizarre what our bodies do!  But as my wise mom always says, "this too shall pass".  :)

Oh this is what I have in the lube...about 10 drops rose geranium...10 drops palmarosa...5 drops lavender...5 myrrh...5 drops frankincense......I guess you can play around with the dosage.....I read sandalwood is good too.  I may add some clary sage.  It's really supposed to be great for female issues.   Pick and choose between these oils.   Oh and neroli and ylang ylang is good of u think u have atrophy.  Neroli is expensive though.  Hope thishelps.

Thank you, thank you! I looked up your Love Lube ;) I was really impressed, and wanted to hug you for finding this product, and telling about it here. I think I got a girl crush on you actually because of everything you said lol! Yeah, it became obvious really quick that it was not cytolic. Baking soda out. For me anyway. I hope that information does become usful for someone though. I was looking more through the other post, and saw the one about the UNDA treatment. At first I was like huh? So I googled it. Really fascinating! I'd love to learn more about it! And I agree with you on upsetting the balance. Totally. I've just been so desperate, that I really didn't care what I did down there, I had to find something that worked. Nothing did though. Anyway, so I'm looking at this lube, and oils remedy, and the UNDA, and it makes sense to me, but I'm so scared to fail again by trusting in homeopathic, despite that being a deep part of my belief system, that we should find natural ways to heal. I'm doing the lube and UNDA despite the fear, and will post results. I've just been let down so many times, that I also broke down and made an appointment with my gyno, to convince him to give me something, other than cleocin or flagyl. Like tindazole. And make sure I don't need a massive shot of penicillin. Since amoxicillin did work for that one day, long ago. And to test me for endo, and cyst, and double check on STD's. I do have a frequent pain in a certain spot on my left side. And painful period cramps since I was 14. Like debilitating cramps. Which reminds me of the post by the woman who had hers removed, and the goo went away. I think its a gigantic jumble of problems for me, that I'm going to fix. One by one. Or it could be really simple and I'm obsessing and paranoid. Either way, this is rediculous, how much this thing messes with us, ME. I'm not giving up. Huge thank you, to all of you for posting. Even though it was like 3 years ago, and only a couple are paying attention ;-p

I tried the unda...didn't work for me....but it can't hurt to try...everyone is different....I think you are over stressing...I'm starting not to stress about this too much anymore....try the unda if you already bought it and do the lube thing.  Also try taking borage oil...I used to have horrible cramps years ago and the borage oil cleared that right up.  It's gamma linoleic acid and it's anti-inflammatory.  It's also good for your skin...I don't break out anymore.  Take it daily with food.  I buy the capsules.

My gyno appt is on April 1st. I think my main concern is the pain, and making sure there really is not an infection, or std. -Thank you for being honest about unda. It was 16 dollars a bottle. So I'm glad I didn't waste my money. I have been reading about the oils. I have decided on Geranium, Clary Sage, Myrrh, and Rose Otto. From Young Living. For sure with the love lube. I'm ordering it all today, and I am so excited!

Omg I'm excited too!!  Hehe.  Young living is supposed to have awesome essential oils.  I got mine from ananda.  Yeah I'm gonna get the clary sage as well. Sounds good what you are buying.  After I used the lube diligently...around week 2, my normal "slip" was totally back.  Ok I'm at work.  Just wanted to say I'm happy you are trying it and hope it works for you!!

Just a small update, since I can't email or text you, I went to order the oils from Young Living, and it was 65 dollars a bottle! So I didn't even mess around, and ordered from Ananda :) I trust you! I went ahead and got the Palmarosa, instead of Rose Otto, bcz if it worked for you, I don't want to stray to far from what you did. I got my oils yesterday, and am still waiting on the lube. I started my period last night, so I assume its perfect timing that when the lube gets here, I will be prime to start the regimen! K, I will be back in a couple weeks to let you know how its going! I am hopeful!

Ok good!  I'm really horrible with time, but I've been using the lube for well over 2.5 months.  I did add the clary sage to it.  I think my vag is totally becoming normal again because I'm only applying the lube once in the evening now before bed.  The first week I applied it every single time I used the rest room and if I had any discharge I'd remove it and make sure I replaced it with the lube.  Gross but true.  I wanted the lube to make contact with the vaginal wall and not the goo.  As time went on, I got less and less goo...but kept applying the lube.  And the slip is completely bacK and I don't have that awful discharge anymore.  I feel like my normal self again like I never had any issues to begin with.  Be consistent with it, even if you are still getting the discharge...it will eventually get less and less, til u get back to normal.  I'm amazed!!

I've been reading about these oils some of you girls are applying... does this mean we'll have to be applying them forever? Has anyone applied for a while until normal and then stopped to see if the gross discharge would not be back?

This is going on with me since 2007 and I've posted here over a year ago... I know a lot of people just keep posting they have the same problem and so on... we need answers. I feel this problem is as bad as for a man not having an erection. This is the worse thing a healthy woman could have!! Seriously!

Please if any of you ever find the answer DO NOT ABANDON the rest of us! Anyone was able to treat and have it normal a while after treating it?
