To follow up on the coconut oil, I mixed it with a few drops of tea tree oil and it worked! I skipped maybe two days and it's back again.. . My essential oils are in the mail so I'll be trying the goo gone stuff soon as well, but for now the coconut oil is working !
I'm just wondering about how active some of these girls replying here are - do you typically have an active lifestyle and workout and run a lot?

Wouldn't it be worth while to get tested for parasites from your doctor before doing these expensive treatments ?

I'm having the same problem!!!!! It dries the exact same, sort of gritty/sandy/glue like and dries SO quickly... I've been treated for BV 3 times in the past 2 months and the discharge hasn't changed at all. I was initially on Nuvaring when this started and took it out hoping that the problem would go away after a while but it hasn't. What is this/how do I get rid of it?!!?!

Just thought I'd also mention, although I have this problem - I don't have any problem with dryness sexually. In fact it's quite the opposite where I get wet really easily, to the point where it might be excessive (but I really have no complaints and neither does my partner) ;)
Anyway got all my oils today, haven't bought the lube. I'm going to try with coconut oil first.

Hi, I've been doing some reading and I've stumbled across "cytolytic vaginosis"which: In some of the patients who have symptoms and signs of vaginal candidiasis, which is unresponsive to antifungal drugs, a diagnosis of cytolytic vaginosis may have to be suspected. Cytolytic vaginosis is also known as lactobacillus overgrowth syndrome or Doderlein's cytolysis. It is characterized by abundant growth of Lactobacilli resulting in lysis of vaginal epithelial cells; and therefore, it is called as cytolytic vaginosis."The Treatment:Treatment involves douching with sodium bicarbonate solution or using a sodium bicarbonate suppository vaginally. Douches are carried out twice weekly for every two weeks. Solution for douches can be prepared by mixing 1–2 table spoons of baking soda with four cups of warm water. Alternatively, empty gelatin capsules are filled using baking soda and one capsule is inserted intravaginally, twice weekly for every two weeks. These measures help in resolving the symptoms by restoring the normal vaginal environment.I haven't tried this myself, but it DOES describe some of my symptoms that mimic a yeast infection - but is not in fact yeast.
