I am 17 going to be 18 soon and i have this same problem. It frustrates me to the point that i want to cry. I am not sexually active. I have been having this chunky white/ yellow- ish discharge. When i go to my cousin about it al she wants me to do is go t the doctor thinking its just an infection they can fix it but the doctor just says im healthy and fine down there and doesnt do anything but it has not gone away. At one point i thought it was a yeast infection so i took the canesten oral pill and it seemed to help for a bit because it got rid of the yeast in my body but it came back and has not gone away cause i havent done anything about it. I never thought it was this bad until i used i vibrator and the chunky discharge was on it. I have poor diet eat junk food and a lot f fast food and im thinking this might have something to do with it. I eat a lot of bread and my cousin told me that could also have something to do with it that there is too much yeast in my body. I really want this to go away cause im seeing this guy and when it gets to us having intercourse its so embarrassing. I think im going to try the baking soda, eat yogurt and have a better diet and see if that helps but if anyone isa cure please let me know. I dont have many people to turn to cause my mom passed away and all my family is mostly boys expect my one cousin. Im glad to hear people are having the same problem because for a bit i thought it was just me.

I too have been out of my mind with the white goo/ it sticks to my vaginal walls and seems to either generate or collect at the cervix. I've been going to the dr for years and it had no reportable pathology- at the lAst pap my new Dr saw it and said I had a yeast infection. I asked how she knew and she said she saw it... Well 2 rounds of antifungal later, it's still there and I'm irritated/ literally and figuratively! Long intro: I've been using the goo gone lube for 3 days and I have hope for the 1st time. Based on my research, Sylk brand lube can also be used, and the Rose Geranium is a must. I think the Palmarosa burned my already irritated vagina so I stopped adding that for now-unllke clary sage and rose geranium, Palmarosa is considered a mild skin irritant for sensitive people (like lucky me!) I'm waiting for my clary sage and lavender to arrive and I'll play w the right combination for me. Thank you so much for sharing your research and your experiences! I think I'll try adding Palmarosa back after I'm not so irritated because I want the antibacterial component- unless someone can give me a possible alternate? It's been 3 days and my vagina is slippery and goo production at the cervix has diminished

Did he start leaving it in. It might be the discharge of the old out of the uterus. It lives for what 1 to 3 days . And has to go somewhere . I noticed this with my girlfriend. And the more I do that the thicker it gets.

This sounds like a yeast infection, not the problems we are talking about. Get tested for a yeast infection and make sure your boyfriend does too. If he isn't treated, it will come right back. Also get tested for BV.

I found that tea tree suppositories help. they're for infections, but I was told the exact same thing you were an have the exact same issues. I've only tried the douche with tea tree oil and water, but getting the suppositories in the mail soon. I know this was posted a while ago but I hope I can help those who are experiencing this trouble now. I have for 8 years now. I'm 19.

It was nice to notice this post as I searched for a solution, it started for me about 6 months ago when my bf and I slowed down our sex, and hes now my ex bf and I feel like when we did have sex the discharge would go away or pushed in other parts of me because I never noticed anything on him, but half way thru I would get terribly dry... theres never been any odor or itchiness when I do use my finger to scoop it out its just looks and feels like elmers glue, the consistancy is the same too but it dries very quickly. someone mentioned coffee, i do consumer 3-4 cups in the mornings and I am on sronyx bcp and paxil 30 mg. maybe coffee is the culprit, I have normal periods they don't really bother me light cramping and normal flow, I guess I'll quit buying expensive monistat since they don't do anything as I'm really sure its not a yeast infection or an std maybe some of us just are born this way, use lube for sex and accept yourself as you are, I feel more at peace with myself now and will leave my docs alone about it

hello Ladies,

i am glad i have found this, i have been reading through it for the past few days now.

I am so glad I am not alone, I have went to my Gyno 5 times, got tested, tried so many medications; which did not make a difference, have also tried all the home remedies possible, but nothing works. I have been struggling with this for more than a year and have spent so much money and time but no result. I am not ready to give up yet.

i broke up with my boyfriend around the same time the goo started to appear. and haven't had sex ever since.

i want to try the primrose oil pills, which i will buy tomorrow, and been looking for shops for the essential oils. I really believe this will work.

I was so sure that it was either hormonal or vaginal dryness. let me share my case so maybe it can shed some light on this matter.

I have a very dry skin and have to keep using expensive creams for it to remain barely hydrated, although I drink loads of water. my skin gets itchy when it dries, my vagina dries up during sex and I had to result to lubes in order to have pain-free sex.

the only time i don't have goo is about 3-4 days a month is i think when I am ovulating where i get wet and just 1 week before my period. everything month i see relief from this horrible problem and then it comes back again and again.

i have tried like some suggested the banking soda douche 2 days ago, i have no goo today but i also been douching with water twice a day and have changed my intimate wash again. i have changed so many during the past year.

I hope we all find relief soon. I cannot wait until I am back to normal.

It's really nice to know that it's not just me suffering from this. I've had it for a year now.

Ive been tested for everything under the sun multiple times. HIV, HPV, yeast, vaginosis...  everything appears to be normal. But I'm not sure how a thick white chunky discharge can ever be considered normal. There's obviously something not quite right.

I've tried everything garlic, difflucan, probiotics, nirozal, tea tree oil and I'm now using a gel to restore the ph of the vagina. My gyno thinks that should clear it up in about 6 weeks but it's been a month and no improvement.

I'm going back to see him in two weeks. He's confident that there's an answer to this problem. Ill make come back and let you know if I get to the bottom of this.

I'm proud to say I found a solution for this! After years of discomfort and several doctor visits with no help I finally found a way to fix this problem.First of all.. Out rule any and all infections/STD's. If the doctors can not figure it out give my method a try.

Buy unscented softsoap hand soap and a loofah. Lather up your sponge and carefully clean out every nook and cranny and your vaginal entrance. Be gentle but firm and work your way to your anus and thoroughly clean. Next makes sure to rinse out all of the soap and dry yourself. Do this twice a day. I know it sounds like a give in to make sure you are clean down there but some people don't do it enough or use soaps that irritate them.

Make sure you are always wearing cotton underwear and your pants are not too tight in your crotch area.

Take two AZO cranberry vitamin supplement capsules daily to regulate and maintain urinary tract health.

Drink TONS of water. At least a gallon a day and preferably filtered. Stay away from sugary drinks and especially stay away from soda. Even diet. That stuff is terrible for you and messes with your body in more ways than you know.

Try using mineral makeup. A lot of store bought makeup contain chemicals and alcohol that with prolonged use can dry out and irritate your genitals.

Eat more fruits and veggies and cut fast food out of your diet. Some of the ingredients in fast food are poisonous and not fit for human consumption.

Make sure your partner cleans their genitals before and after sex. Do the same yourself. Maintain oral and hand hygene as well.

Use pads instead of tampons and make sure to frequently change.

Drink more water. :)

Eat a cup of plain yogurt every day.

Get more exercise. Even if it is just taking a walk every day. Keep your body moving.

Take a trusted pro B vitamin if needed. (Rephresh and Fem Dophilus are the most effective) WARNING!!! This step might not be for everyone. If the other methods alone do not work, try adding this to your routine. (Also, just to warn you.. Your discharge might get worse for a week or two. It is typically your body flushing out all the bad c**p and yeast.)

I know that this is a bit of a long list but it has completely changed my life around. For years I had thick, lotion/cheese-like discharge that tasted either bitter or cheesy. After taking some simple steps I noticed within a week my discharge was normal, thin, watery and with a faint sweet taste. It relieves me to have found some things that really truly help me. I know it is frustrating and can make your very anxious and self conscious. I hope this helps some other people too.

Vagisil ph balance has helped me. Although i wish someone could find a cure n not treatment. I will try the probiotic and take a garlic vitiman. But i must say i have had three vaginal diseases. Chlamydia gonorrhea and trich. I think this has something to do with these symptom for me. Some times i wonder should i be gay, find a man who has low sex drive, be single for the rest of my life, idk but i pray we all get a cure. Im just being honest. I dont think this stuff came out of no where. We trust these lying guys n we end up burned n the long run. If i find out n e thing for us i will post here first and try to make this story of mine go viral for all woman.

I too have been suffering from goo since I was about 12 or 13,, before I was sexually active. I'm just about to turn 19 now. I have discharge constantly, to varying degrees of amount of thickness. It does get on my underwear and it seems to be worst after I work out or before my period. Mine doesn't really seem to be affected by sexual intercourse one way or another and I don't have the dryness others have reported. My GP assumed it was yeast infection, I tried various over the counter methods to no avail. My skin around my vagina is often extremely dry and will sometimes crack, so I will have small cuts on my vulva which can be quite painful. I remember my mom took me to a natural homeopath and she had me take baths with baking soda and peroxide but it didn't help. I've had a couple samples taken of the discharge and it was confirmed to not be yeast, and slightly abnormal with a bit of bacteria present. My doctor didn't really have any suggestions. I've tried a proibotic from a natural health store. Nothing has helped. I'm thinking of playing around with the lube and the essential oils since it seems to have helped some of you. I was very glad to have found this thread. Thank you all very much for your words and advice.

oh my gosh, i am so thankful i am not alone in this. i have been suffering with this for the past couple of years, the thick discharge during sex that dries awkwardly and apparently is sour to the taste (sorry tmi) and it is so embarrassing and i just wish i had a quick fix to it. i just purchased Nature's Way - Primadophilus Reuteri Pearls (i'm pretty sure this is what was mentioned earlier) in the hopes that it will make some difference. having this makes me nervous to have intercourse. does anyone have any other tips? i am feeling really hopeless and just want my body to go back to normal :(

Rephresh is no good. Get the highest billion count of probiotic, with Lactobacillus Acidophilus in it that is Refrigerated. This is what I use, its recommended for people after using Antibiotics, but i use it all of the time because I have suffered from recurring yeast infections and bv for years now. You can use that brand of probiotics as a suppository as well, instead of messy yogurt, to reintroduce good bacteria right into the vagina. Some gel capsules do not break down easily in the vagina, but those ones do. Just wear a pad to sleep or prepare to drip a bit in the morning :P Another very important thing to use is *Boric Acid. This was prescribed to me by two different naturopath to help balance ph. You do not Ingest it though, only use it as a suppository. You can buy it in powder form, then buy 00 size gel caps and make your own suppositories or there is a natural women's brand that makes medicinal products that I love that makes BV treatment suppos. with boric acid in it. They also have one for yeast infections and a pill called Candidastat to help regulate candida in the body to prevent yeast overgrowth. The two are intertwined, yeast and ph. So being aware of diet and taking preventative care for both after treating them is necessary for so many of us women that are susceptible to imbalance.

For the Boric acid suppositories made with the powder, use one in the vagina at night for up to two weeks to treat BV. Then as preventative measures, you can use it for 2 nights in a row every two weeks or when you start feeling any symptoms again. Sometimes I even use the probiotic and boric acid suppos at the same time to really help get things back in balance :) We must realize that what we are putting into our body, food, drink, and thoughts/energy are directly effecting the health of our yoni's. Yoni is a sakrit/tantric word for sacred center/vulva/vagina/womb. So lets start nurturing ourselves more!!!!!

Oh one more thing I forgot to mention, well actually two. First, eating foods were allergic to can aggravate yeast issues and a lot of times we may be eating things that we don't even realize we're allergic too cause were always having only small reactions, mostly internal so hard to tell. Gluten is a big one!! Best to get a fod allergy test to be sure :) The other thign is, just say no to washing with soaps, even if they say they're specfically for women and ph balanced like summers eve, they Still upset our natural system. Best to use mostly just warm water and hands to clean our lovely vulvas :) and you can use your finger to clean out the inside of your vagina if theres a lot of discharge, but only with water. Douches can be harmful/imbalancing too, even natural ones.

Hope that helps ladies!!!!! <33333 p.s. I'm only 25 as well and have been going through all of this, along with the birth control stuff which can effect it too. I cant do progestin only bc anymore, like depo or mirena cause that threw me way off. I actually just decided to get off of the pill again too and let my body rebalance itself! To get back in touch with my moon time and natural rhythm :) Many Blessings Goddesses
