I have the same thing as well.  It hasn't always been there, maybe just for the last two years or so.  I'm 24 now.  Although I don't have a definitive answer about what it is, I have read that abnormal chemistry in your vagina may be the cause and it is something called bacterial vaginosis.  This kind of thing is apparently not diagnosed in a normal pap smear, but must be specifically looked for so you should mention it to your doctor.  As some posters mentioned, it may be possible to correct your vaginal flora using probiotics.  Basically, there is an overgrowth of bad bacteria in the vagina and when it takes over we get this thick, white-ish discharge sometimes accompanied by a foul smell, but not always.  My situation sounds so similar to most of the ones mentioned here.  I'm glad to know that I'm not alone.  It is definitely embarrassing and gross and I never feel like having sex anymore, even though I've been with my boyfriend for a long time.  I am definitely going to make an appointment with my doctor and ask about bacterial vaginosis.  If you do have it, I read it can be cleared up with antibiotics.  I hope this helps some people out and good luck.

Mix you a lil less than half a teaspoon of baking soda in the orange box with about 8 ounces of warm distilled water and douche twice a day every other day for 2 weeks. What you have going on is you have too much of the bacteria that controls the yeast. Its the opposite of a yeast infection so taking probiotics will make it worse. Or you can go to your doctor and she can give you antibiotics

All women have some vaginal discharge. Normal discharge may appear clear, cloudy white, and/or yellowish when dry on clothing. It may also contain white flecks and at times may be thin and stringy. Changes in normal discharge can occur for many reasons, including menstrual cycle, emotional stressors, nutritional status, pregnancy, usage of medications - including birth control pills, and sexual arousal.

Do any of you use condoms? I have experienced the same symptom. I had sex about 3 days ago and noticed the clumpy white mini cotton balls today. I just had a full blood work up and am absolutely healthy. The only thing left, is the condom I used. Please tell me if this helps.

I am so relieved to have found this thread! I am suffering from many of the same issues. My boyfriend and I frequently have unprotected sex and at least 2-3 times a month, thick white clumpy 'discharge' will appear on his penis after intercourse. He also complains about bitter taste and pain caused by friction. I'll get 'wet' but it quickly dries out and causes sex to be quite painful. This thick white clumpy matter is not quite discharge, but I can scoop it out of my vagina and sometimes it has a foul odor. My boyfriend does not 'pull out' usually, if that matters. The only pain I experience is burning after sex sometimes and pain due to the dryness. I'm only 20 so I feel so unhealthy. Clear of all STD's and vaginal infections, no doctors can ever figure out whats wrong! If anyone finds some relief, I'd love to know!!

I have had this exact problem since my very first menstral cycle at age 15, I'm now 39.  The ONLY time I see improvement is when I'm eating tons of yogurt.  I forget what the gyno said but she concurred that some women don't have enough "___" and the yogurt replaces it.  At 2 cups of Light and Fit a day I have a "healthy/normal" vaginal state, otherwise tiz exactly as everyone stated, sometimes so bad it actually has a flow.  Doc says no infections (yeast or STD) ever - this is just normal body stuff.   Yeah right!

Sometimes this will happen especially when its ovulation time is close. Can be just your body shedding extra layers. My dr. Told me this is a common problem in younger women in mid twenties. Especially if you have had children. Even certain birth controls can effect this. Your body gets used to certain hormones and its hard for the body to go back to way was before contraception. I not sure about making more juciy for sex if lubes dont work. Maybe natural supplements and diet.

I had these same exact sysmptoms for years!!! Same routine...tested for yeast, STD's, etc year after year.  It wasn't really a discharge because it didn't really come out unless I had sex or dug it out.  It was like watered down glue..sort of.  Anyway....it has not gone away entirely for me, but I found that I ended up having a lot of food allergies.  Specifically almonds and garlic (the two worst) however, I am mildly allergic to lots of foods.  I am convinced it is related to the food allergies.  I recommend getting an allergy test.

I tried RePHresh and I did not notice much of a difference the first time but after the second dose I inserted about 3-4 days later, I noticed a huge increase in discharge and it was much thicker...made the problem worse for sure.

I have followed this thread for awhile and want to help all of you who may be suffering! As a lesbian, it allowed me to rule out quite a number of things. First you should :1. Go to the doctor. They can run tests and determine what it may be and rule out any STDs or infections.2. Take the medication they give youIf that doesn't work (my doctor THOUGHT I had a yeast infection but it didn't show up in the tests) I'd follow some of the advice here with the essential oils and coconut oil.

I made my own concontion of melted coconut oil + a cocktail of: Clary Sage, Geranium, tea tree oil (not too much!),  Palmarosa, Frankensence,  Rose Geranium, lavender, and Myrrh

Use clean fingers, apply inside and outside the vagina/labia.

Loose clothing, no underwear at night, drink plenty of water. I also started using a menstrual cup instead of pads/tampons.

A few days and it was gone... It's been a year!
