Hello! How would you wheight variococele surgery to be affective or ineffective in improving fertility? My wife and I have been trying to conceive but we had no luck. Then we went to the clinic and saw what the bad luck was all about. I am thinking of surgery and would like to know of other experiences. Thank you!

Hello there! I ran into some statistics just before my husband’s variocele surgery and they were not comforting at all. Some researchers said that varicocele repair produces favorable pregnancy rates, but others said that these pregnancy rates were the same as the rates of couples who have chosen not to have a varicocele repaired. Wow, this was discouraging but we have still decided to do it. After one year I got pregnant! So, all is not lost!!!! Good luck to you!

After 1 year of varicocele sugery, my husbands Semen mortility is still a problem. Improvement was recorded in the first 3months to 20% mortility but dropped to 5% again. What options do we have next. All other parameters are ok.

Hi,
We waited 8 months to have baby n doc said my dh has varicocele n gave him vitamins. Doc says as long as my DH doesnt feel pain or discomfort down there then its ok not to have surgery. The next month after my DH consumed his vitamins we found that am pregnant-thank god. Am on my 15 weeks now. So.. Ask your docs maybe they can give the same kind of vits (to boost the sperm strenght or sometin..) its zinc, ginkgo biloba, royal jelly, ginseng etc. I can give you d name but i think its better to ask ur doc.

D problem is ever since he took the vitamins he started to feel pain in his scrotum, he stops his vits but still its hurting sometimes he said, so he's thinking to have d surgery. I surf around and found alot of complain about after surgery, lots of them says they feel worse than pre-surgery. So... I hope anyone would tell me that they got d surgery without any next bad thing. And what kind of surgery they take.
Well... hope my share can be usefull.. All d best for all of you..
