Just went to gyn, and had a very painful papsmear. Vaginal opening is fine. It's the pinching on the cervix, at least I think that's what they are pinching. She said to do suppositories in the vagina for one week before my next annual papsmear. Forget it, I don't want to go back. I couldn't stop crying. Finally, once out of there, it went away. I am 56 and post menopausal. What the heck just happened?
Also, I am not sexually active and have not been for 15 years. I have turned my life around from immoral behavior. If it's part of God's plan, I will meet a virtuous man who I can marry. If not, at least I have peace of mind.
Anyway, what happened with the painful papsmear? Anyone experience this..it's the pinching action when they take the culture...majorly painful, majorly painful..a 10!
