So what is it. Is it really an STD?

This reply is really out of date; however, I hope the guy who started this thread followed the advise of Fox22. Although it COULD be symptomatic of a number of VD's, the one that I immediately thought of is GONORRHEA or if you prefer, da "CLAP". If you have not been to a private physician because of $$ or lack of insurance, check your local health department as they usually have free clinics or can point you in the right direction. DO NOT DELAY because if you do have the Clap, it's not unusual to have other STD's (syphyllis, chlamydia, HIV, etc.) too. These will require additional and/or different antibiotic treatment (if caused by a bacterium) and HIV requires retrovirus therapy.

Remember: the ONLY 100% sure prevention of an STD is abstinence. (NOT what you want to hear and probably unrealistic.) But if you gotta have it, at least do yourself (AND your partner) a favor and use spermicide with the condom EVERY time you have sex.

Good Luck and get well!
