So, for a couple of months now when I stand up, stretch, or get out of bed something happens and I can barely see I thought it was vertigo but then I realized it was a lot worse than vertigo my vision will almost completely disappear consumed by what can only be described as maybe a red-ish haze but only when I stand up stretch or get out of bed what is happening?!

It sounds like you may be experiencing a condition called orthostatic hypotension, which is a sudden drop in blood pressure that occurs when you stand up or change positions quickly. When this happens, your brain may not receive enough blood flow and oxygen, which can cause symptoms like dizziness, lightheadedness, and vision changes.

The red-ish haze you're describing could be due to reduced blood flow to your eyes, which can cause them to temporarily lose some of their visual acuity. This is a common symptom of orthostatic hypotension.

Orthostatic hypotension can be caused by a variety of factors, including dehydration, blood loss, heart problems, and some medications. You can try to prevent orthostatic hypotension by standing up slowly and avoiding sudden movements, staying hydrated, and avoiding alcohol and caffeine. If you do experience symptoms, sitting or lying down until they pass can help alleviate them.
