Hi.
My name is Kayla, I am 17 years old, about five one and normally about 120 pounds. I swim and run so its a lot of muscle.
About two months ago i started throwing up EVRYTHING i ate, and would have severe pain in my right side that went back to my sholder. After six weeks and losing almost 22 pounds they discovered it was my gall bladder and i had it removed.
For about six weeks i was fairly normal. Only if i ate too much or too much sugar or fat or whatever i would vomit. maybe twice a week.
Now, two months after surgery, I am throwing up EVERY DAY again, and everything that i eat or drink. even water. this has been going on for ten days and it is hard to find a dr. that finds this at all important. i've lost about ten pounds again, back to about 108. hello, i don't have weight to lose, i can't deal with being dehydrated because i am a swimmer, and i am sick of throwing up every two hours or just not eating and feeling constant hunger. i literally feel like im starving. and my stomach is so sensative to the touch, if someone were to push on it i would scream.
im stuck we have no idea what to do.
any advice is MUCH appreciated, and thank you for taking the time to read this. :-)
Hi,

In response to your post. I have had the same problems. There are a couple of things it could be. Ulcer, sphincter of Oddi dysfunction, pancreatitis, post cholecystectomy syndrome. Also, I have heard of people having trouble eating certain food after their gallbaldder is removed. You could try changing up you diet a bit to see if that helps. Hope all is well.
