I have been an avid smoker for 30 some years. My little wrinkly lungs probably look like to piles of dog c**p, sooo........i have decided that i must stop the cigarettes. I have tried in the past but never made it past a day or two.
My mother is on her fourth bout of cancer, this one can't be fixed. First cancer was cervical, second cancer was hodgkins, third cancer was lung, which is in remission for now, fourth cancer is in her brain, which the doctors say is inoperable.
I am actually afraid to stop smoking. I have heard of so many folks quitting and then getting really sick, things pop up out of no where. I have read thru some of you folks experiences and it really makes me nervous.
I am not sure what i should do now.
