I am 46 years old and pysically fit. I am a fitness instructor and also weight train. I have been taking birth control pill for 15 years. about 13 years ago my doctor found that I had a cyst in my uterous and had to have surgery to remove it. One of my ovaries was also removed because cyst was growing into it. My doctor recommended that I continue taking the pill and said it would prevent further cysts from develop.

P.S. I havet thyroid dcondition and am taking synthroid medicine at .075 mg. I want to stop taking the pill - what risks would there be for me if I stop taking the pill.
