My word boo, four months together and only just had sex! That sounds like torture to me :-) People these days have sex on their first date, so I don't think you have anything to worry about, unless you have other issues.
It all depends in how old you are and how you feel about each other. If you are under 16 I'd say wait, but over that then if you feel ready that's ok. Make sure you protect yourself against STDs and pregnancy. All the best.
