Yes, you can lose weight by little to no exercise. Approximately 70% of what you weigh is what you eat. Im not sure how the op eats, but changing the diet to reduce calories while maintaining the proper nutrition level is very important. I suggest the op to do mild exercise such as walking and yoga if possible. When you stop using your body, you lose strength and mobility because the body is naturally lazy.
Did you ever stop to think that if you dont consume the extra calories, you wont have to burn them off?

With out workout or exercise it is possible but not good to reduce weight. You have to use weight loss pills for reducing fat from the body which may be harmful for you. So, if you cant do exercise then you should control you diet that should cholesterol free and calories free.

Breakfast: *HAVE ABOUT 10 MINUTES AFTER YOU WAKE UP, BUT BEFORE YOU EAT HAVE A TALL GLASS OF COLD WATER*
1. 1 cup Special K cereal
2. 1 cup skim milk
3. 1 cup frozen or fresh berries

AM Snack: *HAVE THIS AROUND 3 HOURS AFTER EATING BREAKFAST*
1. Polly-o string cheese
2. 1 handful of walnuts

Lunch: *LUNCH SHOULD BE ENJOYED 2 1/2 HOURS AFTER YOUR AM SNACK*
1. Grilled Chicken Breast sandwich on WHEAT bread
2. 1 serving of green beans
3. 1 apple

PM Snack: *THIS SHOULD BE CONSUMED AROUND 3 1/2 HOURS AFTER EATING YOUR LUNCH*
1. 1 serving (small individual bag) of carrots.... no dip

Dinner: *EAT DINNER 3 HOURS AFTER YOUR PM SNACK AND AT LEAST 3 HOURS BEFORE GOING TO BED*
1. Baked tilapia with a small portion of whole wheat rigatoni
2. 1 serving of egg plant
3. 1 peach

Dessert: *REMEMBER, DESSERT SHOULD BE ENJOYED EVERY OTHER NIGHT AND SHOULD BE EATEN AT LEAST 2 HOURS BEFORE GOING TO BED*
1. 1 banana cut up with 1 tablespoon light hershey's chocolate syrup drizzled over top of it

Throughout the day only drink water, and drink about 9 cups of it.

This, if followed exactly, could make you lose 3 pounds by your event. Good luck!

Here are really nice and most informative post. I am totally agree with you. According to me you should take a lot of care about your diet. Always try to eat low fat and carbs in your diet and also avoid to eat fast food. Drink green tea to boost your metabolism. But must do some exercise. You can do any exercise to tone your body.
