Well I can't say it is necessary to training with weights in pregnancy but it can be very useful. Exercising is always very healthy. But she must be careful. First she must consult her doctor, then she must avoid heavy weights, it is better to lift lighter in more series. Also she must think on the proper breathing, not to force her too much and not to exercise on the back.
